Devotchka Lovers: El nombre salta a la mente cuando queríamos crear un concepto para la agrupación, su origen viene del lenguaje Nadsat empleado por Anthony Burgess para su novela “La Naranja Mecánica”.
Es un nombre que dice muchas cosas , por un lado puedo decir que metafóricamente estamos enamorados de la misma chica, "Devotchka" (chica), Lovers (amantes); esa chica para mi puede ser la música, “somos amantes de la música”…
La banda se reune en octubre del 2007 debido a que las circunstancias hacen coincidir a los integrantes de la misma.
Esta banda surge del movimiento indepediente de los suburbios, en Coacalco, Estado de Mexico. Formada por miembros de varias bandas que ya son conocidas en el escenario mas local como "Proyecto Pánico Efímero","Shadowplay" y "Revolver 201". La intención es crear música solo por el gusto de hacerlo y transmitir la pasión que sentimos...
