Ok - Broadcaster, Songwriter, Author, loyal friend...that's me. After almost 30 years in professional broadcasting, with a few songs recorded in there...I decided to write a book about the beloved animals that have blessed my life. "My Angels Wear Fur" is a book that opened my life to my dream of writing for a living. Now, along with being a chick on the radio in several different forms...I have a new book out, that includes an incredible CD of original music by award-winning songwriter/singer, Kim McLean. It's "Goodbye My Friend: Celebrating the Memory of a Pet" and it's a book to help in the passage of our furry angels. It's on Amazon and all major book outlets. I'm an alum of Pineville High School in Pineville, LA, though most people there know me by my 'name in a former life'. I graduated from Northeast Louisiana University in 1984 (now it's University of Louisiana Monroe...but I just can't get used to that!!!). I am a ZTA alum, and a little sister to the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity! Hip Hip Pike! Sooner or later, some of my original music will appear here.
