About Devonport Underground CALLIN ALL BANDS/SOLO ACTS
Hi there
First of all, if you’re one of our many fans from last years gigs a big THANK YOU for supporting the venue and secondly – SORRY – we have no more live gigs planned at the moment. However, over the last few months we have created a sound recording studio for young people downstairs at the Underground. This means if you’re a rapper, a rocker, a DJ, a solo singer, a band member or just someone who wants to record an audio diary or recitation you can book in and come down. If you’re under 20 it’s all for free including help from one of our young sound engineers, and when you’ve finished we can burn the results to a CD for you to take away. If you’re older you’re still welcome to use the facilities but there will be a small charge.
New Studio
A-Star Studios is a really relaxed space where you can just try out your sounds or put down some tracks and were happy to help you out.Our equipment includes: Sound booth, Quality mikes, digital 16 track mixing desk, video cameras, sound and video editing software and a 10 disk CD/DVD duplicator so you can create copies of your masterpiece. We even have a drum kit you can use!
So get on down and make A-Star Studios the place for you. We look forward to seeing you
