New readers will be sceptical of your talent. It will feel like a million requests generates only one new reader. You will be able to paper all the rooms in several houses with rejection slips. Don't let that get you down. It's all part of the process. It's like sand in a desert, trees in a forest, or water in the ocean. It's just the nackdrop scenery of the industry. You are a talent who has talent. Hone your craft. become a master wordsmith. Fulfill your destiny. To quote an old master speaking to his student, "You have learned much.
