Originally from North Carolina, this southern rocker has never had it easy and has fought his way just to be heard on stage today. Dex22 has caputered the feeling of bringing music to life. At the early age of 16, Dex22's father abandoned him and left Dex22 the responsibility to live life on his own. As a sophmore in high school, Dex22 found at times that his guitar was his only friend. Such songs as the "The Reason" and "Broken Home" were written at these times as a reflection on the situation in his life. His songs are a summary of lifemoments. When it comes to writing songs, one of Dex22's motto's is to "sing simple about complex things." Dex22's music can easily be described as storytelling with a melody, or music with a message. He is a rebel in the heart yet a southern gentleman with a smile. Dex22 is a different kind of thinker and encourage's his listeners to "question everything." His mysterious personality reveals only what you search for in him. Dex22 is an evolution in name terminology, meaning letters can't describe all that he's about so sacred numbers are used to radiate a deeper meaning. With his music, Dex22 reaches all ages and seeks to make change in the world as we know it. There is so much that we don't know about him but his music is a key to understanding the sequence of life. Look deep and each song will tell a story like a piece to a life puzzle.
