Ah, the ever beautiful Richard O'Brien in his only music video.
I've taken to trying to draw some lately. Here are my latest completed drawings. I sketch on paper and scan it into the computer where I color it and touch it up with a image editing program. Thess are a cartoony version of Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey, from The Who that I did during lunch without a reference. If you want to see bigger versions you can click on them and check out my deviantart page. I hope they are recognizable. They are supposed to be flattering images just done in my own cartoony style. These were in celebration of getting tickets(even if they are nosebleed) to the Philly Who show. Pete is windmilling while Roger swings his microphone. If you couldn't tell, I can't really draw guitars and hands are still a bit problematic.
Check out the Casbah Club performing their fun song, Sex Change, live below. Give it a chance. It is a funny song that looks at the things that women are able to do because... well they are women. Of course women are superior to men. ::nod nod wink wink:: "know what I mean?" (aka I don't really think that, but I find the song to be fun and it is catchy.))
You Belong in London
A little old fashioned, and a little modern.
A little traditional, and a little bit punk rock.
A unique woman like you needs a city that offers everything.
No wonder you and London will get along so well.
Mechanical Engineering student(soon to be graduate) that loves The Who, Adrian Edmondson, Vincent Price, Danny Kaye, The Casbah Club, Robert Englund, Glenn Beck, Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band, Rik Mayall, Jennifer Saunders, Gary Cole, my Chevelle, Vespas(and Lambrettas), horror, ska, emo, mod, oldies, vinyl, anime, drums, Naruto Roleplaying, Gaia Online, making Anime Music Videos, playing with my puppy Susy and most of all my boyfriend.
Love Reign O'er Me
"Only love can bring the rain that falls like tears from on high."
You've gone passed hopeless romantic. You're more hopeless than anyone that's out there. That's why you are so lovable. You still believe in love.
You are the guitarist, Pete Townshend. You're the main force behind the musical aspects of the band. Your ego is only outweighed by your total lack of confidence in yourself. You enjoy smashing your guitar, even though it becomes routine after a while. So crack open a bottle of brandy, and God-forbid someone approach you when you're on stage...
You are a mod. Your style is fairly preppy and conservative, and you are probably more sophisticated than a typical rocker. Or at least that's what you tell yourself. This doesn't mean that you aren't trouble. You very well might be planning on breaking into the local drug store to steal some blues tonight!
You're Magenta, a Domestic. You're working for Frank at the moment, but you long to return to the moon-soaked shores of your beloved Transsexual. Well secluded, you see all, especially the nighttime escapades of Janet and certain creatures of the night. Mostly because you're from another dimension, with voyeuristic intentions. Just stick with your brother, Riff Raff, and soon you'll be doing the Time Warp again.
Who I'd like to meet: Friends that like The Who, anime, mod, horror, good music, etc. Just talk to online and to keep in touch with my friends and their friends. Celebrity wise, I'd like to meet Pete Townshend, Simon Townshend, Adrian Edmondson, Jennifer Saunders, Patricia Quinn, Richard O'Brien, Glenn Beck, Bruce Foxton, Paul Weller, Gary Cole, Rik Mayall, Bruce Campbell, Diana Rigg, Robert Englund(I had a chance, but VCU messed it up with poor planning, but I did get to see him speak live). Last, but not least, The Casbah Club. Check out a live video of them performing one of their newer songs below.
I'm doing well, how about you? I hope you can go swimming too! The river's not too...gross, hehe, as long as it's not too low. But the beach is great, although the waves were really rough today.
Oh my goodness! That's a long ass time! If there's anything I can do to help you with a wedding... lemme know. I found a nice dress place that actually offers simpler dresses!
Thank you for all your blog love! Dresses suck, the HOA is scared of me and they do not dare write anything else, and the future hubblesworth is sticking with me through everything! How you been?
Hey, it'd be rad if a ska punk band got to play during the offering. It could be all punky when they get it started then once they start passing around the plate collecting money it turns ska and is like pick it up pick it up pick it up. Okay that's really dorky and cheesey but great at the same time!
You're friends with Mitt? haha I'd throw him at you on facebook but you never go on! :0 That blog comment was great! haha what craziness are you on!?!? Cheez Whiz fights rule! Hoopla!
