Born in Barcelona, Spain. Joining the electronic scene by 1997 at the Macintosh Esparraguera (Barcelona). Immediately became part of the successful event producers C.I.A. form Spain. Chema starts to be known as “ Dezarate” within the Dj..s and electronic music scene.
Experience
Dj Resident and special booking from 1998 to 2002
Working as a resident with Pepe Billy in rooms like ByPass , Essencia, Anonim, Pont Aeri to name a few. Also at various rooms in Spain including top clubs at Barcelona, Madrid, and Ibiza. Booked the U.K. to work several brand campaign events for Ministry of Sound and the Bacardi Campaign with 18 dates around the country. Stayed as resident for several months at Pentagon, Pop, & The Crystal House.
VIP Residence and International Booking Europe 2003-2004
Touring at special Vip parties at the Rotterdam Club and Love in Amsterdam, The Fuse in Brussels, Van Van in Amberes, and several clubs in Paris for the summer of 2004.
Moving back to Spain and starting new business opportunities 2005-2006
Move to “Lloret del mar” where he opened a franchise for the Plastic Records - Dj Academy and Production Courses, within the local community in Catalunia.
Songwriting, Producing he..s own music 2007
Still working within European clubs, starts to include its own original produced tracks at his sets. After a few months he started to get offers to include his tracks at several compilations and Dj sets around the continent. At this early stage his tracks where included at 12 albums from Ministry of Sound, Cafe del Mar, & Buddah Bar. Then specialized labels such as Deep Class Records and Beatport start to release both individual tracks and original albums from Dezarate.
Recording Artist Career 2008-2009
Late in 2008 Dezarate moved to Mexico City to find new waves of inspiration. Immediately clubs from around the country booked him. Momma, Petra Lounge, W Hotel, Condesa Roof Bar, Habita Hotel, Love Club, Bipolar Cantina, Rioma and AM just to name a few, welcome Dezarate into Mexico City..s nightlife. He continue to produce original tracks for the likes of Wally López, Ismael Rivas, Ivan Picas (Factoria, Madrid), Willy San Juan (Molacacho Records, Barcelona) Jimmy Fer Ferrari (Deep Class Records), Michell Manzano (Technical-Djs), Selektor Music, MD Records, Serial Killer (Spain-USA), Alvaro Maretti, Lux 23 (Milan, Italy).
His tracks obtained 4 continuos #1 position at Ministry of Sound, Beatport, Below Cero and DJ Download charts in a 6 month period. The very first tracks reached back to back the number one position, and incredible goal for a newcomer.
Early in 2009, Dezarate signed and exclusive deal with, ShockingWatts. His first album was prepared to launch Dezarate career as an artist, this album is entitled “Guava Soleil” a trippy album which includes all his four #1 hits.
One of the biggest stars in the electronic scene, Paul Oakenfold start..s to notice Dezarate..s music. He began to include tracks at his own sets and resultant podcasts, a total of 15 Podcast have included at least one Dezarate..s track..s in the last 4 months. Currently Oakefold..s new album ‘Vegas’ include..s one of Dezarate..s biggest hits.
At this moment his sets have been showcased at several Internet Radio Stations, 1House Radio, Proton Radio, NetMusique, HotMixRadio, DI.Fm, Deep House and VMixFm.
Dezarate prepares its second album for an October release, this one will be titled “Deep Monarchy”, as well as a collaboration Album set together with Chloe Harris.
