We want you all to know about some releases we just put out as well as some upcoming albums set for release soon. We are very sorry if we have not gotten back to your myspace messages as this has been a busy time for us with the emergence of some new artists as well as some much respected awards and bookings from our main producers.
As you all may know FLUFFY RABBIT and Rhubarb's first album are now out and available for sale on the site...
The Fluffy comp definately delivers the awesome with a multitude of styles from around the world! Thank you to SKET-ONE for his art prizes!
Rhubarb has a new album that will blow your socks off with deep growling metal sounds and dark evil timbres that make you want to run screaming from your speakers. This is an ultra-madness-core type of thing. VERY FAST. VERY BRUTAL. Take a listen from our page on cdbaby or his website and hear some previews for yourself!
Cutloose's album is now almost completed and will be mastered and relesed very soon! Mark Sandstorm has been working with Cutloose since last november on producing a glitch-hop/hop around the place kind of theme. We just know you are going to love the wobbles and bleeps of this witty and fun new take on a fresh sound that everybody is raving about!
Compilation Vol.2 release is right around the corner with big name artists such as Superstar Dj KEOKI, Datcyde, Lazerbitch, Sandstorm, DEAD PA, Cyphonix, Ology Project and more! Expect to see this released in Nov/Dec. ;)
Loop and Scissor have created an 11 choon album of delicious drum and bass influenced by early artists such as Shy FX, CongoNatty, DJ Hype, etc. They have been playing a great live set recently at events such as the WMC2009, radio stations, and events all over California. Loop and Scissor are ready to release this 11 track album heavy duty style! Look for this release in Novemeber!
AudioBomb has been working with Mark Sandstorm over the past 9 months on a particularly appealing electro-inspired EP of an all hardware based music system.
Although AudioBomb hasbeen performing in bands locally for years, the San Francisco underground dance scene has embraced his live sets and dj sets with open arms! Look for a November release on this one folks!
Sandstorm and E.F.C. have a fun little EP coming out soon that is filled with random fun mussings of the two's remote work from coast to coast. AFter writting music together by exchanging project files online in thier free-time they have come up with a few tunes which would be most likely labeled as IDM/Electronica and have a smooth yet glitchy undertone. Expect to hear this one in December ;)
Heavy Knockers (the new hot electro fidget house project) have been a producing powerhouse lately with remixes for JKLOL, and many originals set for release through multitude of different record labels! this is an act to hear and watch! Heavy Knockers are bringing event crowds some of the best dancefloor material we have heard in ages! You will not be able to help from eharing and seeing them truthfully. A new 30 performer band, named: JKLOL, has just completed an album produced by Mark Sandstorm in SF.
"For The Win" or "FTW" is the title of this ambitious and well thought-out team's new album.
Theatrical math rock to the extreme! Original is an understatement. As fun as their music is, JKLOL is nothing to laugh at since they just so happen to have a full orchestra and metal band with the utmost of skill and precision!
This album will be available on CD and MP3 very soon (this month) from our website and our cdbaby page.
Mark Sandstorm has been working hard to build a state-of-the-art audio facility and throw events all while producing many artists from around the globe. His credits have reached the top end of Hollywood with work on projects such as the NEW LINE CINEMA logo soundtrack which is featured in 7.1 surround sound. His work has also been featured in multiple advertisements and jobs for the likes of high-end film audio gurus at Mi Casa Multimedia ( www.micasamm.com ) and legendary record producer Robert Margouleff.
Mark is currently expanding his film and record credits as engineer, sound designer, programmer and executive producer while still exceeding audience and critic expectations with his recent remix work and a huge amount of side projects spanning across a plethora of genres.
