Richard's Bio

Born:Nashville TN.
From a family full of talent and music, it seemed normal that Richard should grow up playing music. At age eight his father booked the Williamson County Country Jamboree and he played drums to backup his father and sisters. He studied drums in school while learning the piano, and formed a band with his cousins at age thirteen, which performed at church socials and parties. Later bands performed at clubs, roller rinks, and parties. After recording at Mountain Studios in Nashville, he became involved with acts such as The Johnny Rowland Band, Tommy Cash and the Tom Cat Band, Marshall Law, Byondwardz, Cryn Rain and many others. Recording in various studios in Memphis, Nashville, and Detroit and having success with cuts being picked for the Kix 106 compilation CD, and a few others being published in Hawaii. In 1994 He became a writer member of ASCAP with CD's Like "Shadows In The Spring", "HomeSpun", "Distant Future" and tracks on to many artist recordings to list. His creation "Solitude" was chosen as the theme music for "Pray2 The Woods and the Sequal Directors Cut". His solo CD's take you on a emotional Roller Coaster thru the many moods of life. The owner of Distant Future Entertainment and now that the 24 track studio has been completed, Richard has gone into production mode once again vowing to complete as many quality works as possible From Country to heavy metal

Lydia Norman's Bio

Lydia came from a musical family, so it was no wonder that singing was as natural as breathing to her. At the tender age of six years, she performed for an audience that included well-known artists such as the Captain and Tennille, Gladys Knight and the Pips, and the Miracles. "That was one of my first memories as a child," Lydia said. The artists were only pictures on the covers of LP's that she'd taken from her parents' collection of records, but that didn't dampen her enthusiasm at all.

As she grew, she had many opportunities to hone her skills as a performer, even while playing. "Other kids in the neighborhood were out playing cowboys and Indians, but not my sisters and me. We would pretend that we owned a nightclub where we were the performing act. Our group was called Tender Love. We would spend hours playing our favorite records, singing and choreographing dance routines to them," Lydia laughed. "I still remember some of those dances we used to do."

She regularly performed with her mother and her sisters at family reunions, church picnics, and any other place where an opportunity appeared. She was in her first school musical in first grade, and in junior high, she sang her first solo. " I remember that night like it was yesterday," Lydia reflected. "That night was hectic for me. I was part of a special choral group called the Knob Jr. Singers, and we sang first. Then I performed with the band, since I was first chair clarinet in the band. When we were finished, I had to run backstage to get ready for the musical. But it was one the best nights in my life." She continued to be cast in musicals in high school.

After graduation, she did not perform regularly, but she still sang whenever she could. A turning point in her life was the first time she sang at a karaoke bar. She sang Patsy Cline's "She's Got You," and the audience was enraptured. Lydia had almost given up on ever being a performer, but the crowd's reaction rekindled her deep desire. In 1999, she was named Ms. Collegiate Nebraska USA. "That was an experience," she said. "We rushed from rehearsals to dinners and other appearances. The fast pace was almost overwhelming at times, but I thrived on it." After returning from the national pageant, she realized that she just had to be in front of an audience. She was convinced that It was where she belonged and where she wanted to be. So she began to take steps to fulfill her lifelong dream.

Now with Husband Richard they are working on cuts which which features Lydia's lead vocals and background harmonies on several cuts. She sings at karaoke bars when she has the chance, and continues to captivate audiences with her vocal abilities and stage presence. When Lydia enters a room, people can't help but stop and take notice.

Hi DFEStudio! Heaven & Earth is on hiatus now as Stuart Smith and Richie Onori have joined forces with bassist Steve Priest to reform "Sweet".  For those of you unfamiliar with the band, Sweet originally formed in the early 70s and went on to sell over 40,000,000 albums with 11 International Top Ten Hits such as "Ballroom Blitz", "Little Willy", "Love is Like Oxygen", "Fox on the Run", "Teenage Rampage", "Action", "Blockbuster", "Hellraiser" and many others.

This reincarnation of the band reformed last year, playing their first show in June, and went on to play festivals throughout Canada and the States and had played to over 300,000 people before the year was out.  During this tour last year they recorded a live CD available on Amazon entitled "Sweet, Live in America" which has received rave reviews - pick up a copy and please Add Sweet As Your Friend On Myspace!

Also, check out our friend Red Hot Chili Pepper Chad Smith's new band, Chad Smith's Bombastic Meatbats and their iTunes Top 10 Funk/Jazz debut release, "Meet the Meatbats"!

Hi there Distant Future Studio first of all we'd like to say thanks for being our myspace pal. We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.

Many people wanted to use us in the future so if you were one of those people make sure you bookmark the link below so that in the event that we do close our myspace account you won't lose contact with us. I wish you the best of luck in your music career. Thanks again for being our myspace pal.
