as i fancy myself a filmmaker, i won't even try to mention any names here, that will almost certainly be used against me at a later point. i like all the films you like. i always find something good in every film. if there was one film i could not see myself having not seen, it'd be star wars. ..Television
yup... KILL YOUR TV! though i make docs for TV, i can't help it. the TV is not good for you. the amount of *%£^%§¶¢# that it spews out every day is obsene. Though, if you keep it only to see one of my docus every two years, then I forgive you. ..Books
i'm not a book worm. I try to read selectively as it takes me weeks sometimes years to read one book. I'm on Isaac Asimov at the mo. ..Heroes

About me:
I like to have two bloody maries when flying long haul. then sleep. and when i wake up i'll be back home. and everything is the same again, but not really, because you've been away and seen new things and met new people. so really, nothing will ever be the same again. that's fantastic. if there is anything at the moment, which i feel that i'm being ignorant towards, it is my ability to travel and put myself in situations where get new experiences. i know it sounds obvious, and that's exactly why i feel ignorant. because too often i find myself hiding behind the comfort of everyday life. my soft bed, the hot shower, the double espresso that my coffee machine so dutifully delivers every morning, my computer that (almost) always starts and keeps me entertained all day, be it work or entertainment. nothing is so liberating as when one heads out on a new journey, to a new place on the planet, willing to take chanses, willing to loose everything. btw, these are just some random thoughts. for a living i make films, features and docs. recently they've become an excuse for me to travel. at least that's one way of looking at work for me at the moment. there are other reasons to why i try my best to make films as well. can't go into that here. please ask me about them, if you'd like to know, or ask me about other stuff about me. i'll do my best to answer. i have no problems talking a lot, as you might notice, especially about me. don't know any other way of doing this at the moment. it's my first go at this myspace-stuff, blogging, whathaveyou. thanks for checkign in. see you, all my best /d ..Who I'd like to meet:

Hi there David. Hope that all is well with you. CYBIONT has just uploaded 2 new songs that you are most welcome to have a listen to. The first one is called ‘Feelsome’ and is about how we need to make our hearts grow bigger. The second one is called ‘Do me sti cated’ – a kind of rebellion and a refusal to accept the established “truths” we all are supposed to embrace. Both part of the upcoming album – planned to be released in May. Back in New Zealand CYBIONT is eagerly looking forward to your comments.

Smoke Feathers have been invited to play at the INDY Music Awards media launch and short list announcement party on Wednesday April 2nd 7pm at the Rock Garden, Covent Garden, London.
