Stevie Williams is one of the hottest street skateboarders in the country, and the embodiment of today’s prevalent hip hop/skate culture. Hailing from the streets of Philadelphia, Stevie Williams went from homeless to pro skater to entrepreneur to media mogul, and has earned the respect and acclamation from the top athletes in the sport as well as the tastemakers in the industry. He is the quintessential true American dream. He picked up a skateboard at age 11 and has been making waves in mainstream and action sports media ever since.

Named on Black Enterprise Magazine’s “The Hot List: The Most Powerful Players Under 40” (December 2007), Stevie is also the sole founder, owner and rider of the skate company DGK (“Dirty Ghetto Kids”), the name paying homage to his Philly days, with his skate crew being taunted at skate spots throughout the city such as the infamous Love Park. DGK is a highly sought-after and recognized cutting-edge brand that produces skateboard decks, wheels, apparel and accessories and sponsors an impressive roster of young skate superstars like Marcus McBride, Lenny Rivas, Jack Curtin, Wade Des Armo, Darren Harper, Rodrigo Lima and Keelan Dadd.

Stevie has toured all over the world for the love of his sport, has been profiled in action sports’ top media outlets numerous times over, and appeared in mainstream outlets such as music videos, film, TV and magazines. He has also been featured in all three of Tony Hawk’s video games “American Wasteland”, “Project 8” and “Proving Ground” – with a fourth one on the way. Stevie recently hosted the 2008 ESPN Summer X-Games’ street skateboarding competition, alongside industry guru Dave Duncan and Megaramp legend Danny Way.

He has many other projects in development across entertainment and consumer products and plans to continue utilizing his knowledge of the sport to educate the masses about the fastest growing youth sport in the U.S. He is a worldwide skateboarding icon who continues to inspire skaters of all ages and backgrounds...
