About me:

.. .. .... ..
I'm a guitar player in Nashville, looking for new friends, the next gig, and good people to network and play with. I grew up on a farm in Texas thinking I would be a farmer or mechanic, but always wondering if there was more. Heck, I can ride a horse, rope a calf, work all day in the hot sun without a shirt, and rebuild a tractor with a pair of pliers and a screwdriver. It's a farm thing. After going to Graceland College in the midwest and living in Kansas City area for a while, I took a big chance. Leaving a fun job and people that I dearly loved, I packed up my truck and trailer and headed to Music City hoping that an open door would somehow lead me into a career of music. I've been in Nashville since '88 making a living with the guitar, one way or another, and I have traveled the world over and over, somehow making it to every state and all but one continent. Yes I do love it! I really can't think of anything I'd rather do. I also collect guitars and amps and I'm always keeping my eyes open for vintage instruments. I do have to honestly say that I've made some huge real life mistakes that have had in devastating results for all involved, and I really wish that I could not have to say that, but it is real life, and I live with that every day. I miss the people that are no longer in my life, but I can hope that one day, our paths will cross again. Currently I play guitar for Nathan Lee, am a member of Entropy64, and I'm always looking for opportunities to play. I also tour with some pretty cool major recording acts. You can check out Nathan Lee on his myspace page as he's one of my top friends, Entropy64 on our myspace site and at www.entropy64.com. I'm also playing in an 80s hair band, though my hair is much shorter now, called The Big Rock Show, so come out and rock with us. Keep living the dream! And, don't let the fear of the unknown, or what you can do nothing about, keep you from the beauty of the moment of this thing called life! ..

Who I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet fellow musicians who are serious about their music, and want to keep pushing forward to the next level. I'd also like to meet people with a positive outlook on life who don't get bogged down in all the noise that life makes around them, but walk on thru it and come out stronger and better for it.
