As President of a web magazine I would of course have to say that I am most interested in what we are doing at the magazine. To sum it up we have created something very different from other web magazines in that we not only do reviews and interviews but we provide information about the business of music, about the technology of the music,about the singers and bands and songwriters, and everyone on the team that makes it happen. Everyone who collectively gets the artist's music heard. We are fortunate that although we are new to My Space, we have many interested and excited readers and viewers. Its been a while and we thought it was about time we updated you on what we've been up to. Our debut EP Little World is now available at our gigs and will soon be available from our myspace and facebook pages, you will also be able to download it from itunes, but we don't have a release date for this as yet.
To celebrate the fact that we have now reached 25,000 plays on myspace, we are giving you a free MP3 of Rockabye Baby. All you have to do is send your email address to queen.elvis@yahoo.ie and we will send it to you.
We have spent the last year rehearsing with a full band and are now ready to bring it on the road. You can get a look at us when we appear on Balcony TV this week with the full line up. The Wilson Arts & Entertainment District is delighted to be welcoming the FIRST gallery to Historic Downtown Centralia - the Centralia Visual Arts Center & Gallery - slated to open in May 2009! The CVAC is a newly formed non-profit with the goal of serving and supporting regional artists through changing exhibitions, creating an arts based community education program, workshops, lectures, poetry readings, recitals and becoming a "third place" for community gathering. Hey, I finally got some free time and went to go work on EavenTil and realized that they lost their bass player, so I'm going to move on to the next band you sent me, at least until the others get back on their feet, I'll just keep moving forward.
