...see above. My new little girl, drumming, woodworking, computers, computer gaming (I only get to mostly read about it now), golf, photography, yard work, drawing, painting... just about anything that involves a system of tools to be mastered.
.. width="425" height="350">..>
Drum corps, drumline practice clips, alternative metal like KoRn, Sevendust, Tool, System of a Down, Evanessence.
Soundtracks by Hans Zimmer, etc.
All kinds of odd things except country and any of her cousins.
Thunderous classical pieces (Mahler, 1812 Overture), Piano concherto's like Lizst's Hungarian Rhapsodies and Bach's Branderberg pices.
Fusion like Dave Weckl, Chick Corea and Simon Phillips.
Jazz like Spyro Gyra and Pat Metheny.
Mainstream rock like Creed, Staind, Chevelle, 311, Linkin Park, Fuel, Ra, etc. It's mainly the sound of the vocals and how well it fits with the rest of the music that will keep me with the band or shy away.
Movies
(no particular order)
The first Matrix, the Star Wars series, Lord of the Rings (what, more walking?), Lionheart, Best of the Best, some Jackie Chan stuff, Kung Fu Theater, the X-Men series, The Green Mile, Forrest Gump, Mr. Deeds, Bruce All-Mighty, Starship Troopers, Strange Brew, Fandango, All the President's Men, The Untouchables, Caddyshack, Tin Cup, Blazing Saddles (almost all Mel Brooks films), some of the odder and kids stuff (Elf, Disney animations), bleh, bleh, blah...
Television
I don't pay for TV or this list would be much bigger.
This year's American Idol (sorry guys, but I couldn't help it.) OK, it's over and I don't miss it at all.
CSI Miami, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, Futurama, (strange; all my favorite tv is cartoons)My Name is Earl, The Office, The Unit, Judging Amy, ER, West Wing, King of Queens, I watch golf on tv when I can.
We only have broadcast tv - I will not pay for television. However, if I did, I'd probably be watching the Discovery channel for the bike building and scientific shows, HGTV, and some movie stations.
Books
It's been a while since I've been able to read much more than magazines and news on the web. I'm currently reading a paperback called Nighteyes about government agencies and alien abductions - intriguing, and something to do in the mindless moments.
Heroes
What? like aquaman and green lantern?
There are people I admire and respect for the way they live their lives and for what they've given to society but I reserve the right to keep that list quiet for awhile longer.

I'm in the drumline in the background photo but I'm covered up unless you scroll this page all the way to the bottom. I'm the short snare drummer on the left next to the bass drums.
I have another page over at MSN Spaces My other page
..
I do many things; most very well, some, not so good.
I'm a rudimental drummer. I play in the drumline of the Frontier Drum & Bugle Corps in Dallas, TX. It's a DCA all-ages competitive corps that started up last year. We are having a very good season, click here for more info on Frontier.
I'm a dad. My little girl was born January 29, 2006. I'm very proud. She's a beaut! Some babies are just grotesque but we got a real good one.
I'm a husband. My wife and I are 'celebrating' our 11th year of marrige. She is also beautiful - I am blessed.
I'm a son. My mother lives alone in Florida. My dad lives with his family in Kasas City. They are also all very cool and again, I am proud.
I am a brother. My younger brother lives in New Jersey and he is also somewhat cool.
Like I said, I've done many things. I am a woodworker, drummer, computer technician, martial artist, regular artist, photographer, father, brother, son, husband, breadwinner, golfer...etc. Just name it and I've probably been involved somewhere somehow.
I'm exhausted. Where's my pillow?; I need a nap.

Who I'd like to meet:
Geez, if I had any time I guess I'd like to meet a few good babysitters so me and the mrs. could go relax for awhile.
I'd also like to get in touch with some of the people I've known in the past. I've moved a lot and been in many schools over my lifetime and I would really like to get in touch with some of the folks I was closest to in the past lifetimes.
I would like to talk to some of the drum corps people from my era (late 1980's).
I'd like to find some folks to go play golf with sometimes.
I'd like to find a network of people wanting to start a computer support and custom building service so we can become our own Geek Group.
Check out our newly redesigned page and our full calendar of upcoming shows!
Hope you get the chance to check out our home soon.
