I listen to a lot of different types of music, but mostly alternative, metal, punk, hard rock, rock, emo & classic rock. Some of my favorite mainstream bands are are The Beatles (especially John Lennon), Eve 6, Nirvana, Toadies, Burden Brothers, Linkin Park, Green Day, Alice In Chains, Candlebox, Three Days Grace, Tool, Disturbed, The Used, Muse, Korn, Hoobastank, Led Zeppelin, Dry Cell, Soundgarden, Breaking Benjamin, and many more than I can name here. I'm also very heavily into the underground Texas music scene. There are so many excellent bands in this state who are so much better than most of the mainstream music out there.

About me: Many Texas bands know me as half of Penehoff Promotions: the Texas music promotion couple here on MySpace. This is my personal profile. Riley and I work as promoters and PR reps for the band Magdalene. I am Magdalene's Street Team leader. We also work as promoters for the bands ParadigM and Laurel. I live in Tyler, TX now, but grew up in Beloit, WI and Rockford, IL. If you're wondering how I can be from two different cities, that's the product of having divorced parents sharing custody from opposite sides of the state line. I live with Riley, my daughter, and our cat Angel. I'm a unique person who very much into music. I have a great sense of humor and can't be taken too seriously most of the time. I spend hours every week gathering concert info so I can announce concerts in my local area, both in the Tyler Morning Telegraph weekend entertainment section and here on MySpace. I do not do all this work for money. I do this just because I love to help bands and try to get more people to attend the shows and support the local music scene.
