This new painting of mine is inspired by the Ian Fleming film "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" and is entitled "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the Seven Cities of Gold", based on the old musical film on the fabled car which could fly. Ian Fleming is the guy responsible for all those James Bond films and it is no wonder the film was of his doing with all the surprises Chitty Chitty Bang Bang the car was capable of (it would make the inventor Q from Bond blush). I took the idea and placed it within the context of the current oil crisis...pics in pics section and detail explanation in my profile blog, Ray :)
an epic pop art painting based on the early 19th century painting by Gericault called "The Raft of the Medusa", this is the 2009 "In Search of Christopher Robbins" 10' by 6' ft. by R.Pilar
"The most wonderful thing about tiggers, are that tiggers are wonderful things, their tops are made out of rubber, their bottoms are made out of springs, their bouncy jouncy bouncy jouncy fun fun fun fun fun, the most wonderful thing about tiggers is that I'mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
"Traded shellfish and wine for a cherub's feast piled on high, cakes and candies carried on a chariot pulled by a child's might The imagination transposed into a fruitful realization...pastries, toffee, marshmallows and caramel sensations Left obligations and work for a explorer's feat moved on horizons, joy and freedom played on a path lined by a cloud's guidon The innocence transcends into a truthful remembrance...smiles, laughter, cheer and mirthful circumstances Ernest was never as earnest in his simple pleasures, contrast a descriptive myriad of sweet endeavors A moveable feast between a boy and a girl, far beyond the Seine's melancholy... into a world of sugar coated awarness"

Welcome to the page of Kristine Di Grigoli Paige, I am known primarily as a performance artist, having performed publicly since July 25th, 2002. (Also known as the founder of The Sound and Vision Show - stage name: "Zoe")
THE SOUND AND VISION SHOW
LIVE PAINTING TO LIVE MUSIC SINCE 2002
ABOUT THE SHOW
In 2002 I founded The Sound & Vision Show on July 25th, 2002 at Basic Elements café in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The show was a combination of live music and improvisation of fine art. Since the year 2002 I produced over 50 shows at venues such as: Maxwell’s (Hoboken, NJ), The Knitting Factory (NYC), The Hyatt (New Brunswick, NJ), Crossroads (Garwood, NJ), The Court Tavern (New Brunswick, NJ) and many others. From August 2002-July 2004, Bruce Carl Meyers and I performed together to create works of art to rock bands and acoustic soloists such as: Denise Barbarita, Bobby Stewart & the Contraires, Jones, Jonathan Tristram, and a myriad of other musical artists!
Within a time frame of approximately four hours, a S&V event is truly a celebration of creativity. Musical performers are selected with great care for the sake of continuity and mood. The painter's colors and musician's sounds effortlessly mesh together into a single entity of mutual inspiration that provides the spectator a feast for the eyes and ears.
Upon returning from a month of travel and study in Europe in 2004, I decided to focus more of my energies on translating my life’s experiences into art. My first project back was the completion of my ”B&W Inverted Sketches” series and the series “Eyes”. My travels, friends, and music all play a significant role in my work, including my life long obsession with mysterious veiled women and Surrealism.
A painter by day a Club Photographer by night and once the sun goes down I put down my brush and pallet and takes up my next love photography.(Check out www.ArtChickPhotos.com) Frequently on evenings and weekends I can be found in New Jerseys hottest night clubs capturing youthful exuberance on digital images and recording this generations efforts to define itself.
