Diablo Barbell exists so that those who are truly dedicated can build and attain strength beyond strength. We cater to one type of individual and one type only: the dedicated lifter. It doesn’t matter if you are a competitive powerlifter, strongman or gym rat. If you have dedication, desire and a willingness to learn then our doors are open to you. If not, then there are thousands of other gyms around who will gladly accept you.
Diablo Barbell was born several years ago when two lifters met at a local APF meet. After discussing training philosophy, goals and ambitions Ted O’Neill and Garrett Harper began training together in Ted’s 3 car garage in San Ramon, CA. After a year the group had grown to 5 and after some brief thought and contemplation it was decided that a bigger facility was needed. With the help of blood, sweat and more sweat a 2500sq.ft. building was leased, equipment was bought and assembled and Diablo Barbell officially opened its doors on June 14, 2003. We currently have approximately 50 members, 20 of which are active powerlifting competitors. The others are simply dedicated individuals, with and without athletic backgrounds, who are seeking a level of strength they never thought possible. As stated above, we don’t care who you are just that you are dedicated.
Here at Team POWER & inTENsity we train our Butts off when we go to the gym!!! So that when we get on the Platform Records fall!!!! To do this we need serious energy.. Thats why we drink EQ ENERGY~~~~
You can mix EQ with any drink and it will fuel you through those ass kicking workouts..

thanks i'll check the website later on. i've been meaning to stop by diablo barbell eventually but i havent found the time lately. so far i've been training on my own time at my gym for the past two months just to get started. i'll try to come out one of these days to inquire about how you guys train.
don't worry, skinny chad only has about 3 or 4 months to go, then the real chad will eat him. I can't promise the top friend thing until i figure it out!!! ha ha computers suck they are too light.
