The Press::

**** 'Seven Years of Dirt is from the beginning untill the end bold, storytelling and compelling' (Dagblad van het Noorden) ......... 'Evocative musical exploration of Dutch Americana.'' ' .....Dia del Mercado seem to have big dreams of epic musical vistas, complete with sentinel cacti and whirling dust clouds. ‘Seven Years of Dirt’ certainly goes a considerable way to achieving this dream.' (Americana-UK.com)..........."The music on the album 'Seven Years Of Dirt' from the Dutch band 'Dia Del Mercado' remains unconventional, but such offering amidst the multitude of pop and rock songs might just become the main reason of success for this cinematic sound which resembles the desert music of Ennio Morricone blended nicely with the etheric pop songs of Pink Floyd." (Rootstime.be).............Dia Del Mercados "Seven Years Of Dirt" ist besondere Musik für besondere Momente. (Rocktimes.de)..................'Slingerland and his band members(..)take the listener on a musical road trip that demands the full attention of the listener. But those who are willing to do that little investment, will come back with a heart of golden impressions from an intense trip.' (AltCountryForum.nl)
