After years of artistic adventures and individual musical careers, it is in august of 2000 that singer/ songwriter and performer Elyzabeth Diaga & composer / musician Ben Roberge
join forces to create and produce the DIAGA sound.
Artistic fusion happens when Ben sends one of his musical tracks to Elyzabeth via email; completely seduced by
the refreshing atmosphere of his music,
she instantly improvises a melody & lyrics, establishes a structure and sends him back the
first draft of Above My Hell that same day.
After such a succesful musical exchange the newly formed duo adopts this spontaneous writing procedure and begins the DIAGA adventure .
Disregarding any premeditaded musical protocol the DIAGA sound forges itself naturally and quickly attains maturity.
Electronic / organic, two contrasts that collide while revolutionizing their intrinsic content.
From Jazz to Groove, from Pop to Trance we never suffer from the definitive presence of any specific musical form,
instead we find ourselves stupefied by their subtle or striking force of passage.
In less than 2 years, the two members of DIAGA write, mix and produce their first CD, surround themselves
with exceptionnal collaborators,
they put DIAGAWORLD.COM online, start their own record label ( D.W. records ) and obtain a
Canadian distribution with Outside Music.
It is in a room filled with 400 astounded guests, that the audacious team launches its debut album on september
3rd at Montreals Cabaret Music Hall.
In april 2003 DIAGAWORLD productions present The DIAGA Experience ; this show of international
envergure finds itself on the Groove stage of The Montreal International Jazz Festival of that same year , flabbergasting
more than 7 000 people.
Ending 2003 with 2 special V.I.P. shows of The DIAGA Triangle Lounge Show , Elyzabeth & Bens 2004
is dedicated to writing , individual projects & the production of a remix compilation .
In 2005, the seductive MUSH can be found on 2 different compilations, the Mush Alain Vinet Remix appears
on his cd MOUVEMENT , released in june by Cirque du Soleil Musique
and the original version is on the FSM3 cd realeased in August by King A Groove Records.
DIAGA is currently in production of a very special project due out in 2008.
DIAGA's debut cd is distributed in Canada by Outside Music.
DIAGA cd is now available on ITUNES .

Dominique HUDSON est ALADIN dans la nouvelle comédie musicale de Félix GRAY (Sherazade,les 1001 nuits) en tournée au Québec depuis Mars 2009. Dominique HUDSON a présenté aux médias son album éponyme en vente depuis le 29 Septembre. J'ai eu le bonheur d'écrire 2 textes et de coécrire avec Dominique 3 autres textes pour cet album. Je suis en préparatif pour une audition pour joindre le groupe (LES CHASSEURS DE MENTEURS) au Québec/Canada qui est déjà en semi-final pour un événement connu, LE FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DE GRANDBY (qui a fait connaître les Lynda Lemay,Luce Dufault, Isabelle Boulay,Véronique Dicaire, etc), comme quoi après la pluie y a parfois le beau temps!
