The History: In 2005 Moses Iten started a radio show on Hobart's EDGE RADIO following the same sonic principles of Uber Lingua, titled DIALECTIC... For a while he collaborated with Cluster collective main-man Angus Rofe before Angus left for Japan. Moses won a station award with this program and in early 2006 moved to Melbourne putting the show's continuation under threat...
Hooking up with long term radio and music revolution collaborator bP (Brendan Palmer), and with the technical assistance of 3RRR, DIALECTIC continues to broadcast 2 hours a week from within the community radio network... In 2006 sakamoiz moved on to other projects and bP adopted the show and evolved it's production style until 2008, featuring a zillion guest DJ sets and international interviews in the process.
In late 2007 DIALECTIC and Palmer were nominated and short listed for a CBAA award in the category or Excellence in Music Programming and got the bronze, beaten only by radio programs that had been on air for 15 years or more...
Hence, alongside the expanded slot of twice a week on Edge Radio, DIALCETIC is now available on the Communty Radio Network satellite.This is available for capture and re-broadcast by any community radio station in Australia. Dialectic is now picked up by UGFM Radio Mirrindindi Alexandra & Alpine Radio Mount Beauty in Victoria, 2MCE Bathurst, Bay FM Byron Bay, 2TLC Yamba, Valley Fm Forbes, KRR FM Kandos, Triple U in Shoalhaven/Nowra and 2SER Sydney in New South Wales, 4BCR in Bundaburg and Fraser Coast Community Radio Hervey Bay in Queensland, Tasman FM Nubeena & City Park Radio Launceston in Tasmania, and Radio Adelaide in South Australia... And thats not counting the many community stations that simply pull up the CRN Satelite fader in the studio when they go home each night...
