I hope you all had a marvelous week and weekend. For those in Alabama, I hope the severe weather that came through didn't give you too much trouble. Spring is here, though, and things couldn't be better!
I do want to share with you some photos taken at Saturday's performance by Squirrelhouse at Egan's in Tuscaloosa. It was their last show for a while, and like always, they put on a very crowd-plleasing show. If you haven't checked them out before, do yourself a favor and catch one of their shows when they resume performing. In the mean time, you can visit the photo gallery at:

As mentioned last week, some new changes will be coming soon to the website. I will be doing an overhaul to provide a more informative and catching site as opposed to the standard gallery site I have right now. The gallery site, though, will still be implemented, but when the change is made the old galleries will be accessed through a different address YOU will be the first to know when the site is up and running... however, in the mean time, there might be a period where the regular site is down or not responsive. Don't worry... the transition, when it happens, will be as smooth as possible.
Now with my usual reminders:
Remember to contact me if you need a photographer for a party, special event, special occasion, or anything along those lines. All images from the event would be put up on http://www.dsmithimages.com in either a public or private gallery so those who attended the event could order prints and images on their own time. If you are interested or have an event coming up in the next few weeks or months, email me at dsmithimages@gmail.com so we can get the ball rolling. You will be able to choose from 3X5's, 4X6's, 5X7's, digital downloads, black and whites and/or colored prints, and really... anything you'd like to have included. The choices are all up to you so don't wait!
Please don't let travel and distance barriers prevent you from asking either. If it is within reason, I do not mind traveling to cover an event if my schedule allows it. I'll do any event - family, birthday, anniversary, college, house party, Greek, corporate, etc. Just let me know the details, and we will go from there. -With that in mind, if you are in a band or a musician looking for promo photos or shots taken during a live performance, let me know. I have a couple of different pricing breakdowns, but I will work with each band specifically to get what they need and what they want. I have also decided to implement a new business option as well. After careful thought, I am opening myself to shoot weddings in the future.
