Bio
"This ain't just a band, there's a power and glamour to them. These guys are showmen just looking for a bigger stage!"- The Rockpit.net Class, quality, clarity, definition and a "Cut Above" like the gemstone itself, Diamond Eye delivers the wow! Factor whenever they burst on stage. The Perth based four piece were forged in 2006 through the vision and song writing partnership of vocalist and guitarists Will Kelly and Greg Fawcett. With a sound that marries the fist pumping choruses of Kiss and Bon Jovi, with the chest pounding riffs and soaring solos of Metallica and Iron Maiden, Diamond Eye have the full package. Their shows are, quite simply, events. Whether it's their highly sought after unplugged sets, or the full bombastic live performances with special effect lighting and pyrotechnics, Diamond Eye is everything you want in a live band all meticulously packaged within their own style and uniqueness. "Diamond Eye are energetic and strong from beginning to end with their soaring guitar harmonies. They are a solid band who are great at their style which reaches out to all different genres and crowds"- WA Gig Guide "Diamond Eye are MASSIVELY entertaining and INCREDIBLY fun to watch"- Xpress Magazine 'Stadium Rock Specialists' Diamond Eye have performed at many of the local festivals including Minnawarra 2010, Scorcherfest 2010 and WAMI 2009- 2010, which has led them to securing main support slots with indie rock leaders End of Fashion, Australian rock icons The Radiators and East Coast bad boys The Poor. Strong believers in self promotion, Diamond Eye have received international airplay and reviews in America, U.K and Europe. An East Coast tour, nomination for WAM 'Song of the Year' and a live to air television performance on Perth's Telethon 2011 have increased their profile nationally. "It's only a matter of time before these guys are signed and massively popular, so don't you want to be the one to tell your friends, I told you so?"- Newrocknews43.com Bare Metal Records 2009 international release 'Auditory Assault' compilation saw 25,000 copies distributed to all forms of the U.S Armed Forces featuring the Diamond Eye showstopper 'Machine' In 2010, Diamond Eye released their live performance CD/DVD entitled 'Alive and Kicking'. 2011 saw their first studio release, the five track E.P 'Sound Of The Guns' both were showcased at the famed Perth venue The Amplifier to a near full capacity crowd of Diamond Eye devotees. Currently in pre-production for their first full album release in 2012 Diamond Eye are going a long way to cementing themselves as an international attraction. "This is a band that actually wants to go places. They're pumping themselves up! They're talking about themselves and they're pulling it off on stage"- Radio Fremantle 107.9fm "Some bands are more than just bands, you can see it in their eyes, hear it in their music and taste it in the air at their gigs. These guys deliver what has long been lacking................A SHOW!"- TheRockpit.net -

Vanexa were one of the first Italian heavy metal band, their self-titled LP was consecrated by the national press as the first italian heavy metal album. Born in Savona in 1978, their sound was typically Anglo-Saxon evidence abroad where they were cited by several magazines as proponents of the new wave of heavy metal
band from late '70s early '80s. They also participated as a headliner at the first heavy metal festival held in Certaldo Italian in Florence May 21, 1983. In their careers have also participated in various compilations including metal of Metal Mountain, exit the United States, with the song "Hanged Man" and Metal Italy with the song "It's Over". In 2007 a CD reissue of their eponymous debut album with 3 bonus tracks and unreleased second album "Back From The Ruins" with 5 bonus tracks taken from a live concert of 1984 was released in 2010 is out "1979-80" a compilation of early material ( totally sung in italian) released on vynil and cd supports. We needed a new fresh band with a new fresh sound. VANEXA spearheaded what was termed 'the new wave of heavy metal'. They were a more than welcome addition of the italian hard rock/metal scene. Yet, this debut offering offers more energy and speed than actual accomplishment. In 1983 VANEXA released their self-titled debut album, starting what would become a legendary career for the band. They were one of many promising bands in the New Wave of Heavy Metal movement at the time. Following the success of Vanexa, the band released released their second album Back From The Ruins in 1988. The album featured fan-favourites "Midnight Wolves", "Creation", "Hanged Man". This new album contained many tracks that had been written prior to the release of the debut album, but were considered surplus. With songs already shaped on the road well in advance, only two new tracks were written for the album; Hanged Man and Creation. The band adopted a different approach for their 1994 studio album, titled Against The Sun. This was not a concept album, though it was themed loosely around the idea of social problems. It featured, for the first time in the band's history, synthesized Keyboards and guitars sounds to add textures and layers to the sound. Though considered different from the norm of Vanexa sounds, it a good response across the world, especially for new incredible voice of Roberto TIRANTI. The VANEXA lyrics contains literature quotes about famous books/movies or social problems fusioned in great heavy metal sound.
