The Diamond Foundation of Nebraska, a Nebraska Nonprofit Corporation, was founded in 2006 by Troy Fienhold-Haasis and Jade Esteban Estrada. The mission of educating and raising awareness about HIV/AIDS through music, outreach and fundraising will be achieved through various events hosted by the Foundation.
The Diamond Foundation is the official home of the Pride IDOL vocalist competition held each year. Beginning our 7th Season in 2010, Pride IDOL will offer over $2000 in cash and prizes to 10 finalists chosen by our judges and audience vote at each preliminary competition. With all money benefiting our charity partner Camp Kindle - it has become THE event to attend!
The Diamond Princess Pageant held in September, provides the stage for a female impersonator representative to join the Foundation in helping to promote and raise money for our various causes. With over $2000 in cash and prizes given at the pageant - it is every contestant's dream to win!
The Diamond Foundation is also proud of its relationship with co-founder Jade Esteban Estrada (Master Entertainer, Singer, Actor, Activist)! ICONS in Nebraska, Jade's touring production of his 3 ICONS stage productions, has been staged througout Nebraska at various high schools and colleges. Because of Jade's generousity, all money raised from ICONS in Nebraska goes directly into the Scholarship Fund to benefit former Camp Kindle campers who are now attending college!
Thank you so much for letting me be apart of your fundrasier for Camp Kindle. I had an amazing time with everyone and so look forward to coming back!!!!!
