Diana is the attractive blonde songstress and Mitch the suave drummer who makeup one of Florida’s leading show-dance duos—DIANA & MITCH. For the past decade, this husband/wife duo has been winning new fans and receiving audience accolades from Southern Florida to St. Augustine. Not only do they stress stage appearance—dressing to accommodate a theme, event or club activity—but their selection of several thousand songs from the 1930’s to the present is designed to appeal to the musical interests of all types of audiences.
In addition to blending vocals, Diana & Mitch display a unique musical presentation that features the playing of drums, acoustic and electric guitars, congas and bongos, supported by unique and bold sound tracks that produce a rich, full sound usually associated with larger groups. Audience participation is important to this premiere duo. This is achieved by interacting with the audience, playing requested songs and including them in Latin rhythms and even an occasional comedy bit. Since Diana & Mitch are Florida residents, they have been concentrating on Florida engagements, appearing at The Villages, a favorite at Lazy Days RV Resort for conventions, the Plantation at Leesburg, Ocala’s Oak Run and On Top of the World, many RV Resorts throughout Florida, with well over 100 performances a year, and emphasis on the 45 & up age group for dances, shows, reunions, weddings, themed events, anniversaries, they do it all!
In the past, they have performed with Tommy Cash (brother of the late Johnny Cash); in Central American countries and the New York City/Long Island area; and appeared on radio and television shows and the Jerry Lewis Telethon. Recently, Diana appeared on stage at the Jazz Emporium on Bourbon Street, New Orleans. Diana & Mitch have also recorded CDs of original music including the Billboard award winning song “He Carries Me” as well as their newest CD, “Wish You Were Here,” which features old and new standards.
