Dianes in Danger was born in 2005. Young composer Michèle Martin had been writing music since her teenage years ; she decided it was time to share some of her pieces with the rest of the world.
Dianes in Danger released a first EP entitled "Infancy" in December 2006.
In 2007, M. Martin officially teamed up with Erroir, the one who had been helping her with mixing and complementary arrangements since the beginning.
They have since started doing live performances with guest musicians, namely at the 2007 edition of the MUTEK festival. They have just finished working on their first full-length album "Creatures", which will be released in 2009. While "Creatures" is mostly instrumental, the duo is now incorporating vocals in most of their new songs.
With classical music orchestration in mind, Dianes in Danger explores the possibilities of combining ancient instruments with recent technologies. The music itself becomes a refuge for the worried hearts and the deranged minds, constantly in denial of the absurdities of the outside world.
*Michèle Martin is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist touring and recording with various bands since the age of 15. She is namely known for her work as post-shoegazer band Destroyalldreamers' bassist.
*Erroir has studied electro-acoustic music and film in university. He has worked on a number of short film soundtracks as sound designer/arranger. He played percussions and was vocalist in various bands and is currently the sole creator of the dark electro band Neverdose.

REVIEWS
A sense of danger is indeed the underlying mood throughout all of Dianes In Danger's music. Composer Michèle Martin writes deliciously creepy melodies and embellishes each of them with various instrumental accoutrements that are seldom heard together, thereby enhancing the sense of unease. Nevertheless, Martin does not abandon her listeners to their fear; she provides just enough moments of release to provide catharsis, hope and the anticipation of her next musical transformation into the mistress of misery.
