Singer/songwriter/keyboard player/worship leader; Diane Thiel, has been singing her whole life. In the 80’s, she and her husband Kevin were two thirds of a CCM trio called Trilogy that was signed to Light Records. Later they formed the Chicago based indie rock band “The Bond” and enjoyed a following in the Chicago club and college scence being called “best unsigned band” by the Chicago Tribune. Through the years of recording and touring, Diane’s heart for worship grew. She served as worship leader for The Woodfield Church in the Chicago area for several years and presently is on staff at The Marietta Vineyard as the worship and creative arts pastor.
In 2001, her song “If You Say Go” was recorded by Vineyard Music and since then has been released on several projects including a version by Rita Springer as well as a Vineyard Music Japan recording. Her song “You Amaze Me” was released on the 2008 Vineyard project, Furious Love.
Throughout the year, Diane travels as a worship leader and speaker for various conferences, retreats and training events. God has used her own difficult journey (she lost her husband Kevin in 2005 in an automobile accident) to bring hope and comfort to many as well as healing for her own soul.
Things are definitely looking good on this side. I got some really great devotional books for Christmas that are opening my eyes up to the plans that God has for me every day. I'm actually really excited about it.

Hey Sweetheart! You have been on my mind since your departure. You carry the light of God where ever you go, shine bright on those around you! Love you Lesa
It was so nice to meet you yesterday! Your music and testimony ministered so much to me. It's so true that the road of grief is not easy to travel, but it's a wonderful teacher if we lean on the Father and trust Him to see us through.
