I'm a full-time college student and work part time on weekends as a receptionist.
I moved here with my mom from Jacksonville, FL almost 4 years ago, a year after my dad suddenly passed away.
I grew up singing and dancing and come from a very musical family.
I absolutely love music.
I trained when I was younger in classical voice and ballet;
studying privately, but also at a performing arts school.
I started branching out into more contemporary (mostly country music) before I moved to Nashville.
After moving here when I was 16, I started recording my first album with Junction Records and have been fortunate to work with the best-of-the-best here in town.
Since then, I have picked up songwriting and started playing guitar. I also just bought a bass : )
My passion is to one day be able to entertain people with my music but also make them laugh(I tend to be pretty silly).
Not only has Nashville brought me an opportunity to pursue music, but it has also given me AND my mom happiness and great opportunity in other things as well.
We have established ourselves here and finally call Nashville,
"home".
And after these few years of growing up and out my shell, I am now venturing into new things in life and want to be able to share them with you.
So here we go: To new beginnings.

Diane Uythoven is a country artist from Nashville, TN who has been christened the “Cadillac of female artists” by legendary songwriter Tommy Barnes. Fresh off of her nineteenth birthday, this country phenom is electrifying the Nashville scene with uncompromising charm and the power to connect with audiences of all forms.
Diane is currently celebrating the release of her long-awaited self-titled debut album with Dime Museum Records. The CD not only highlights Diane’s remarkable vocal expertise but also features some of the best songwriters and session talent in the industry, a testament to her gift. Recorded at the esteemed Junction Recording Studio by John Sturdivant, Jr., the ten-track collection features blockbusters by songwriting heavyweights Tommy Barnes of “Indian Outlaw” fame and Matraca Berg, co-writer of 1997 CMA Single of the Year, “Strawberry Wine.” The album also exhibits the talents of guitarist James Mitchell (Dierks Bentley), Larry Marrs on bass (Marty Stuart, George Jones) and Chris Golden, drummer for the Mighty Oaks Band.
Born in Jacksonville, FL, Diane spent most of her life on the stage. While in the fourth grade, Diane spent a year in the children’s theatre program at the historic Theatre Jax, starring in two featured roles. At the same time, Diane started her classical voice studies with Gwen Hernandez, director of Florida Baptist Singing Women. While attending LaVilla School of the Arts, Diane won the school’s Triple Threat award for her talents in voice, theatre, and ballet. In 2002, Diane competed in the Miss Teen Jacksonville Pageant, making her the year’s youngest competitor at the age of thirteen.
On November 12, 2003, Diane’s world came to a halt when her father suddenly passed away. The death was devastating to Diane, but she used the faith her dad had in her and used it took reach for new heights. With the support of her family and voice coach, Diane moved to Nashville the next year and has been on a musical surge ever since. In short time, she has already performed for crowds at Broadway staples like World Famous Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, The Stage, Second Fiddle, and Full Moon Saloon and playing local venues around town such as the French Quarter Cafe. Diane had the honor of headlining the grand opening of Barbie’s Corner Pub and performing for a Fourth of July benefit at St. Thomas hospital.
Diane is also starting to make waves across the world, with her music in steady rotation in Melbourne, Australia; Norway and Romania. In the fall of 2006, Diane was the subject of a one-hour feature on KTSTFM’s The Doc Tremor Show in Los Angeles.
Diane is ready to take the next step and capture the rest of the world with her charisma and sheer command of the stage. Maintaining a drive unmatched by much of her age bracket, there is no obstacle too big to stop Diane from making a name for herself not only in country music but also in the rest of the music industry.
