About me:
I was born in Burbank, California. I'm a member of S.A.G. (Screen Actor's Guide of America). And also an ASCAP singer/songwriter. You can listen to a few of my recent productions on: www.IACMusic.com/Diane Wayne.
I'm an eclectic songwriter, writing both words and music, in many genres, SOUL, JAZZ, FUNK, POP, SOFT ROCK,DANCE, etc.... And I'm always writing new songs.
MY 1ST LABEL SONG RELEASE as songwriter, was in the Summer of 2005, a pop-reggae tune, called "RUNAWAY FROM LOVE". "RUNAWAY FROM LOVE" is performed and released by Award Winning,Pacific Rim Artist, Daniel Rae Costello, on his THE BEACH PARTY RE-MIX COLLECTION CD, Tango Records and Tango Digital, Lautoka, Fiji Islands. NOW RELEASED AGAIN, SUMMER 2008,with Daniel Rae Costello,on Tango, in shops on Fiji Islands and New Zealand, and on www.danielrae.com.
I had my first radio broadcast and interview on Charlie's Jazz with Charles Hennen, 105.2FM, in Holland,in Feb 4,.2005. I was the featured guest music artist for a 2 hour program/interview. I was on again on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2007 on www.radiomiranda.nl., program, Charlie on Sundays. And November 12, 2007, I was on RTV-ALKMAAR, 105.3FM, www.rtv-alkmaar.nl, Program: ONZE GAST UIT DE MUZIEK, 19:00-21:00,with DJ Jacob Dusseau. December 9, 2008, I'm on RTV-ALKMAAR,105.3FM, www.rtv-alkmaar.nl,again with DJ Charles Hennen, from 21:00-23:00, on program CHILLIN CON CHARLIE. And I've been invited on RTV-alkmaar again! June 2, 2009, with Charles from 21:00-23:00 (NL) time.
AND I'M INVITED BACK FOR TWO MORE SHOWS, 4 August and 6 October 2009. HOWEVER, rtv-alkmaar, 105.3FM, decided 4 days before my AUG. 4, 2009 performance to "talk about changing the shows to Sundays",and cancelled my schedualed live broadcast for Aug 4th. It was way too late for me to re-schedual my other artistic committments, or to adequately notify the thousands of fans and listening public, so I cancelled my October 6, 2009 live broadcast with rtv-alkmaar, 105.3FM, 2 months in advance. Who I'd like to meet:
Creative people who are interested in working artistically together and putting positive energy into this world.
I'm on "A MUSIC MISSION"(c)DianeWayne,2002. It's purpose is to provide self-esteem building creative development for orphans and underprivledged children, in neighborhoods, worldwide.
"A MUSIC MISSION" is an intended co-operative effort with Musicians, singers, dancers, artists of all genres, agents, promoters, technicians, teachers, entrepreneurs, music instrument, computer, and art supplies companies and manufacturers, artisans, and legitimate businesses of all kinds, to provide safe havens and tools, for children in neighborhoods, to experience, explore, and create art. Also to be partially supported by portions of the sales of my creative works. This is the dream, this is the vision, this is "A Music Mission".
My recognition and personal involvement with this creative project, began in the year 2000,(please see my "PICS" section here on my profile) while traveling then, and the following years, in Indonesia, Viet Nam, and Thailand. And even earlier in my life,when I was in Brazil and Mexico. It's need is evident worldwide, even in America, today.
When we open our hearts, and we give and we share, we create a brighter world to live in.
