Bio
The son of a hustling father and a preaching mother, this young man is poised to leave his mark. Born 1978 in Detroit, MI and raised in White Cloud and Grand Rapids, MI he has a fresh & up beat rythm to his comedy. Diaz Mackie "The Golden Child" started acting in school & church plays @ the age of 7 and started performing stand up comedy in April of 2006. Diaz Mackie "The Golden Child" in just a short time has made two tv appearances "Audacity Ent." shown on UPN and "Smooth Vegas Nights" show on Vegas tv as well was a finalist in season two’s Def Comedy Jam auditions. Diaz Mackie "The Golden Child" has also been a regular featured comedian for MICHAEL COLYAR'S COMEDY EXTRAVAGANZA performing @ The FITZGERALD CASINO w/the likes of BET’s Joe Clair, Marsha Warfield, VH1’s Lonnie Love and others. Diaz has also performed @ DEF COMEDY JAM sponsored MIKE P.’s "DEEZ NUTZ COMEDY SHOW" @ POETRY NIGHT CLUB inside CEASARS’S PALACE. He has also performed @ THE WORLD FAMOUS COMEDY STORE in Los Angeles w/Vargas Mason, Kathy Lewis, Neil Hamburg, & Tommy Davidson. He's also been a regular performer @ THE L.A. COMEDY CLUB @ PLANET HOLLYWOOD inside TRADER VICS. Diaz Mackie "The Golden Child" currently hosts an open mic comedy show every Monday ("MONDAY NITE RAW") starting @ 9pm @ BLACK LABEL LOUNGE located @ 3550 S. Decatur (x st- Spring Mtn.) Las Vegas,NV. General
Let's see my interests are my stand up comedy, and sports I love playing and watching basketball and football, messing around on PS2 (sports games and Grand Theft Auto). I love to go clubbing (I used to co-own an after hours club in Grand Rapids), listening to the music in the club is so different from just listening to the song. Puff Puff passing is also an hobby of mine. The entertainment industry as a whole interests me. I very much so would love to start acting in movies or sitcom maybe even soaps or doing comedy. I'm a silly person naturally. Oh one day I would like to rock climb and for my golden b-day (which is 30 yrs old b/c my b-day is on the 30th of Jan. yes I'm an Aquarius), I would like to sky dive. I would also love to learn how to fly a plane I may take flying lessons this upcoming summer we'll see.

I can listen to pretty much everything R&B some Rock (I love AC~DC's Thunder Struck and Franz Ferdinand's Take Me Out. I listen to some regaee as well as gospel too but my favorite music is Hip-Hop, right now I can't stop listening to Kanye & Hov's new album but T.I.,Enimem, Luda, Lil Wayne, Drake, 50, Pac, B.I.G, , Beanie Sigel, Young Jeezy, Jay Z, & Kanye are probably my favorite.
Movies
My favorite movies are Face Off, Scarface, New Jack City, Superman 1&2 and the new Superman Returns, all of the Star Wars except episode 1, Old School, and Swingers. Oh yeah Casino, Goodfellas, and Heat as well, I love Fade 2 Black and Be Cool was an underated movie. I enjoy a little porn every now and then too, but not in High Def (LOL).
Television
My favorite all time tv shows are The Greatest American Hero, Sanford & Son, Martin, Cheers, Seinfeld, Sopranos and now I'm into Smallville, Superman (the cartoon), The Justice League (cartoon), The Boondocks and Benny Hill. I also love watching Sports Center I'm a sports junkie.
Books
My favorite author is Donald Goins maybe b/c my father knew him but I love Black Girl Lost and Dopefiend. I guess other good books are Where the Red Fern Grows and White Fang (books read as a child). Of course every decent man must have a subscribtion to Sports Illustrated (I don't know what I would do w/out it), and a copy of Vibe or the Source. Just to be old school and a JET magazine(LOL!) and the Bible.
Heroes
My heroes are Martin Luther King Jr., Malcom X, Nelson Mandella, Richard Pryor ("I get paid to make an ass of myself, what's your excuse"),Red Foxx (a comic legend) and my mother. Jesus would be one as well I mean the dude did die for everyone. Oh! George W. b/c he proves idiots can succeed. LOL! :)
I am 31 yrs old 180lbs and 6'0". I just moved to Vegas 5 yrs. ago from Michigan (Grand Rapids but I was born in Detroit). I'm new to this whole online thing and I guess I'm just looking forward to meeting new people and networking. I will admit that I'm a bit of a flirt but I'd really like to meet people w/entertainment connections. I perform stand up comedy and I also act a little. I currently host one of the hottest comedy shows in Vegas over @ BLACK LABEL LOUNGE located @ 3550 S. DECATUR (x st SPRING MTN) . CAMPFIRE COMEDY'S "MONDAY NITE RAW COMEDY" OPEN MIC is every Monday, shows start @ 9pm, doors open @ 8pm w/drink specials from 8-9:30p & it's NO COVER & the audience votes on the best comic of the night! Oh, I have two kids back in Michigan seperate mothers my son Jalen is 9 he'll be 10 in Feb (lives in Detroit). I was married to his mother but we've been divorced for 6yrs now. My daughter MyAnna is 7 and she'll be 8 next Dec (lives in Grand Rapids), they both are hillarious and extremely smart I give both of their mother's credit for that. Anyways, I'm here in Vegas making it happen.

Dave Chapelle (the man is genius), Vince Vaughn (great actor and comic), Lewis Black (funny fucker),Mike Epps (just to hang out w/him would be funny), Katt Williams (Money Mike "pimp down"), Anthony Anderson (funny as hell), Steve Harvey (King of Comedy), I would've loved to have met Bernie Mac (funniest cat since Def Comedy Jam R.I.P.), Martin Lawrence (he was the man at one time), Cedric "The Entertainer" (King of Comedy), Eddie Murphy ( a legend), Charlie Murphy (what did the hand say to the face), John Travolta (excellent actor), Denzel Washington (should be every aspiring black male actors idol), Jay-Z (the dude is making alot of powerful business moves and you gotta respect that, plus I've been a fan since Reasonable Doubt sorry Pac), Kanye West (dude is on top right now and the comment about Bush during Katrina seemed accurate), Bishop T. D. Jakes (seems like he has his ish together), Alicia Keyes (shorty is thick and cute w/a great voice and seems down to earth), Eva Longoria (self explanatory), The Asian chick from San Diego's Real World (I thought she was hot), Sean Combs ( the man does nothing but make money he and Russell Simmons), Megan Good (so self explanatory), Lil Kim (wanna test how good her knowledge is), & God (I have alot of questions to ask).
