About me:
During the past three decades I’ve led a charmed life. I’ve worked with most of my heroes, I’ve traveled the U.S. and Europe with some great bands, and I co-produced a CD that received a four star review in Rolling Stone.
My photographs have been displayed by the Smithsonian, published in the biographies of Jerry Wexler and Etta James, on the covers of over 30 albums and CDs, on MTV news, and in an encyclopedia of Appalachian culture.
I’ve written for many of the major music publications published in the U.S. and Europe, and I also was the first curator of the Alabama Music Hall of Fame.
Most recently, I’ve promoted benefit concerts to help a friend with medical problems, and worked with several young Muscle Shoals bands trying to find their place in the business.
In other words I've had more fun than the law allows.
