About Dick Siegel

The author of Angelos(the eggs-over- easy song), What Would Brando Do? , Fighting for King George and many other favorites, Dick is an immensely gifted and versatile composer. Ranging from jump blues and Buddy Holly-style pop to folk balladry and new folk lyricism, his songs offer all sorts of immediate lyrical and musical pleasures. Dick Siegel's visual art will be on display in Ann Arbor at the ARTSpace Satellite Gallery located at 350 South Main Street, Ann Arbor. Opening Reception is on October 18 from 6:00 to 9:30. I was a professional student in A-squared back when the Blind Pig was a righteous dive, with elephant doody in the basement. Loved your music then, live and on vinyl, even though I spent way more time at the Central Cafe and the Fleetwood than at Angelo's. Love hearing Snap! now, on CD. Gonna check into your other offerings soon. Have you ever thought about playing in Minneapolis? The Cedar Cultural Center is a really great venue, kin to the Ark. Check 'em out, and keep on keepin' on!
