Thats great to hear Jeremy. Is it the Sedona venture again? Do you need help organizing anything? Maybe we can try to get you some performances while you are here!
I am so filled with joy that you will be performing with His Holiness and know it will be a spiritual event that will alter you regardless of religious practice or belief.
I was Blessed enough to do two full weeks of learning Buddhist teaching from the Dalai Lama in 2002 after those sessions I took my Bodhisattva Vow. It is a challenge to effectively practice a belief system outside of its own culture. We are Judeo-Christian nations from our laws to our social mores and sociocultural beliefs, pressures and expectations. Even holding a belief in reincarnation is an anathema to people who cleave strongly to Christianity-- yet it is of great import to those of Buddhist belief.
I chose a vow that I believe is private in the sense that I don't have to share it-- I chose, through that vow that I will continue to be reborn to work on this plane; enlightened or not (for once you are enlightened that is your last lifetime); in order to help others for as long as the world needs that help. The first Noble Truth in Buddhism is "Life

Truly so happy to have met you. Always a pleasure to find people who find their cultural heritage and meld it into the person that they are in the modern world proving that it will always have a place no matter what year, century or millinium it might be. We carry our ancestry in our soul and it's important that people recognise that so that they can go about healig those aspects that need to be healed and build o the richness that they carry within themselves through their ancestors.
You have a lot to teach and so much to offer to a culture that has been desiminated thoughout time and can be made strong again by people such as yoursef with passion, spirit and heart. Your Grandfather is with you.
Jeremy. I have thought about you a lot since we met in california at JT. I wanted to express and reiterate how deeply you have influenced me not only as a didgeridoo player but also as a living being. Your songs come into my mind nearly everyday.
I look forward to being able to give you a hug again and say hello. Maybe you will be in Arizona sometime again soon.

I would love to see you out in Arizona in the Spring. Thank you for telling me about eucalyptus. I sometimes celebrate New years with Australia before it is here. It just happens that way. I tend to hear about it over there...peace, nancy
