Die By Day is a longstanding name in the modern local metal scene. Since day one the goal has been to fuse a classic 80’s metal sound with modern elements to the point where a fresh sound could be created while still paying tribute to the great rock and metal heroes of our past. Die By Day spent years honing its chops and lineup in Seattle bars and DIY venues until a steady lineup and fan base had been built to support the band in its metal conquest. Die By Day moved into the club scene in Seattle playing shows at venues such as Studio Seven, Showbox, and El Corazon to huge crowds of cheering fans. 2007 saw the band open for local heroes Metal Church, Dutch Metal sensation Epica, 3 Inches Of Blood, As well as headline the second stage of Seattle’s legendary Hempfest to critical acclaim. 2008 began with Die By Day overhauling its lineup to rebuild once again. Guitar Players and longtime friends, Alex “Sturdy” Gerde and Johnny “Lightning” Haynes were added to the fold to create the most solid lineup of Die By Day to date. This year proves to be a promising one for The band, vocalist Jason Conde-Houston has joined the fold to complete the new lineup of Die By Day.
