Three guys called Pöhner (guitar and vocals in those days), Bär (guitar) and Schorsch (drums) start a band called Die Neurotics in the summer of 2002. Later that year Bachmann joins the band as a bass guitarerro. After realizing that this formation of the band doesn’t fit very well Emre is added to the band, first as a drummer, then as a vocalist.
Spring 2006 Die Neurotics record a demo CD with 5 songs called Pornopunk.
After giving a lot of concerts, taking part on several festival and enhancing the band-formation (Markus Schuster and his bass guitar join Die Neurotics!), they record another Demo CD called „Change Your Style EP“ in Summer 2007. „Change Your Style EP“ contains 7 songs which can be called „Punk’n’Roll“, but it never would be enough to describe the sound of Die Neurotics. There are many influences of different genres like American Punkrock and Old School Hardcore but also Rockabilly and Country.
They’re looking forward to record another Demo CD in Spring 2009.

Die Neurotics werden von Pöhner (damals Gesang/Gitarre), Bär (Gitarre) und Schorsch (Schlagzeug) im Sommer 2002 gegründet. Später kommt Bachmann am Bass hinzu.
Bei dieser Formation bleibt es nicht lange, als Emre, zuerst als neuer Schlagzeuger, später als zweiter erster Sänger engagiert wird.
Im Frühjahr 2006 wird die Pornopunk Demo CD mit 5 Songs, mittlerweile mit vorwiegend englischen Texten bei Schlachthof Recordz aufgenommen.
Nachdem einige Konzerte bei kleineren Veranstaltungen und Festivals bestritten wurden und eine weitere Umbesetzung in der Bandformation vorgenommen wurde (Markus Schuster bestieg den Bass!), nahm die Band im Frühjahr 2007 die „Change Your Style EP“ wieder bei Schlachthof Recordz in neuer Besetzung auf. Die EP enthält 7 Songs vorwiegend im Stil des Punk'n'Roll mit Einflüssen von anderen Genres w.z.B. amerikanischem Punkrock, Old School Hardcore und auch Rockabilly und Country.
Höchstwahrscheinlich wird eine weiter Demo CD im Frühjahr 2009 aufgenommen.
