music machine: my studio was in disarray for months from a grayworld show, and i had just connected the last quarter inch plug, so i bought a bunch of records from goodwill. usually all they have is shit barbra streisand and frank sinatra, but that day they had some jems. i dug out a couple records, got home, cut some tasty sample, took a hearty toke of the old rope, and banged out this nasty little tune.
pushit: this is a springtime song from los angeles, it is a love song. the bass line and main motivation for the song came from a jam with nodding tree remedies. jeff came over one day and gave it a listen and said he wanted to make it a dream tv track, but while we are focusing on gray world, it might be a while before pushit makes it to stage.
chich klinka: i recently returned from a trip to europe. my stay in berlin prompted this chunky little tune. there was alot of tango in berlin, which i though was strange and wonderful, so i cam home and wrote ths song for the berlin kids that took such good care of us during our saty. it's not perfect, but it's honest. and it did very well on soundclick, reaching 124 on the breakbeat chart.
soul for sale: the alternative title for this song is the kyle kyte theme, a crowd favorite soul for sale is what happens when i get ahold of an acoustic guitar. loops on loops, beat boxing, and singing sadly into the blue foam of my microphone.
