Diesel, A Bookstore is a cozy independent shop with stores in Oakland and Malibu, CA. Our selection is broad and varied, with dependable selections of fiction, poetry, cooking, art & architecture, photography, gardening, cultural and social studies, natural and physical science, and of course, thousands of books for children. The store began in Emeryville in the late 1980s, and moved to its current location in Oakland in the early nineties. The space, which is open and bright (and boasts a toasty fireplace in back) was previously a bowling alley--we still have some of the pins! The store in Malibu is more recent, but retains Diesel's welcoming and modern aesthetic. Though, without a doubt, the highlight of the experience one can expect at Diesel are our booksellers. Always poised with a recommendation for any occasion, you can count on their expertise and vivacity whether shopping in person, or via our website: www.dieselbookstore.com. In short, Diesel, A Bookstore is always open, encouraging the building of community and a free exchange of ideas.

Thanks for the add! If your readers are divers with an interest in adventure and underwater archaeology, they'll take to my novels. Best wishes from Portland, OR. --R.J. Archer, author www. SeedsOfCivilization. com Mystery/adventure with a SciFi twist
To the nice folks of Diesel Bookstore: Thank you for bringing me aboard! I’ll send you a postcard in early August with ordering info from my publisher, Leisure books. I hope you’ll consider getting a few copies. It’s a mass market paperback. Should you carry my book, thank you for the opportunity. Independent booksellers are the best!
