As a musician there's just 'too many to list', but production wise I'll say the guys who made me want to produce would be: Brian Eno, Trevor Horn, Steve Lillywhite, Bjork, George Martin, Flood, Dave Gilmour, Nellee Hooper, Prince and Joe Meek
Hi everyone.
I'm a producer, composer and arranger by the name of Diesel Dave. I work in many different styles, recently I've been writing instrumental, abstract 'symphonies' but my main focus is on song-based production and soundtrack composition.
I'm always on the look-out for original singer-songwriters. Strong melody RULES MY WORLD (almost), and although I'm a producer, I consider all production to be 'dressing', and if a song can't hold it's own with the most minimal backing then I probably won't touch it!
I enjoy remix work, and am happy to hear from bands or artists that are looking for a different flavour to their work
Everyone's a DJ these days and that includes me! I can throw you DnB, electro, 50's RnR, 80's pop, breaks anything you fancy, just don't expect me to stay in one genre because I can't. But its fun, as I always aim everything to be..
I promote a night called Club Neurotica, check the myspaz page AND SIGN UP FOR MAILING LIST by adding as a friend!! Next party...
I also work as a senior sound engineer for these guys
I'm an old hand at running live music events- here's a video of the stage we ran for Strummerville at Glastonbury 2007
