The ill over death borns in the middle of 2004 , as a change in consequence of the dissapearing of the formed band know as DIES IRAE, musically know for the ETHERIAL and NAIVE releases world wide. The band was formed by JMDAHERN in the vocals and guitar, EDUARDO GOMEZ on the lead guitar, LUIS MARTINEZ on the drums and CARLOS OROZCO on the bass guitar. 01/2001 DIES IRAE realease their last album NAIVE , produced by Fredrick Nordstrom at the Fredman studios since this time the band left the scene on april of 2002 partially finishing their career in a concert on their home place. Two years later the band has a reencounter with new ideas and different spectations and decide returns to the metal scene taking again the original idea on the concept when the NAIVE album was conceived, with a more agressive and direct sound with the idea left back the fussion and experimenting with new riffs. When the band conclude their first two new songs, the bands discover the formula were their want to continue , at this moment LUIS MARTINEZ and CARLOS OROZCO left the band and in their places was taked by VEECKO on the bass guitar and ALFONSO on the drums refreshing the line up and gave a strident and powerfull sound in the same melodic way. 09/2005 The band goes to the studio to recording their new and first five songs , this new recording was created to send a several companies with huge spectations on the music and the video clip itself as a new product , the band produced the promo and the video clip for the ON THE FIELD song. In the period of the career of DIES IRAE the band colaborate as a supporting band in several gigs, with bands like , THE GATHERING, TIAMAT, BENEDICTION, ENSLAVED and several more bands. The band has proudly the performance of GUS G.(dream evil, nightrage and arch enemy, MARIOS ILLIOPOULUS (nightrage and exumation) GORAN FINNBERG (at the mastering room in sweden) also appears in several reviews magazines like : SOD, UNRESTRAINED, METAL INVADER, METAL HAMMER and others also on the pool for the best 20 ALBUMS was on the 18th place in the METAL MANIACS magazine in the year 2002. Actually the band are producing the live performance and writing new songs for their debut album, to be recorded at the end of 2006. THE ILL OVER DEATH as found a new musical and personal formula reflecting more maturity and confidence . so you... BEWARE THE ILL, THE RENAISSANCE... BEGINS
