A lot of you have asked about the guitar I am playing in my profile pic. I used it a lot at all of the gigs last year, as well as on bright Shiny Pop. It's not a Les Paul, but it is damn close. It's a $379 Agile. It plays and sounds great, and looks fantastic. I also used a Tele knockoff by SX that was $109... you can see them and others here:
Guitarist for 80's Philly psycho power pop band, the A's, Rick came to his senses and moved to NYC in the early 80's and recorded and/or
toured with the famous and near famous. (Roger Waters, Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan, Belinda Carlisle, Joan Osborne,
Patty Smyth, Cyndi Lauper, Sophie B Hawkins, Rodney Crowell, Jeffrey Gaines, others)
After years as a NY
session guitarist, during which Rick wrote a string of fairly horrible, but very lucrative national jingles, he
started writing for TV, and is still doing it.
His music has been featured on Saturday Night Live, the Sopranos,
Desperate Housewives, Friends, Grey’s Anatomy and American Idol as well as in the films Cleaner and Hero
Wanted. Perhaps the most impressive credits are Babe Winkleman's Fishing Hour, and Comast on-hold music.

Spent the day watching TV, and have a few observations. First, in the Eagles game, it was a shame - Deshaun jackson, or whatever his name is, had some sort of seizure in the end zone after scoring a touchdown, but the coach left him in the game. He was obviously convulsing, and yet still had to play. If it was the Giants, Jets or other team with class, he would have been taken out of the game with such an obvious affliction.
Secondly, after watching most of the Rock Hall of Fame concert (which of course was in NY and NOT Cleveland) it drove the point home - there has ALWAYS been shitty music, it's not a new development. For the most part, pop music has sucked since it's inception, and the fake reverence shown by some of the "younger" artitsts was revolting.
When watching Monday Night Football every week, I always think the same thing at the open: Hank Williams Jr may be one ugly son of a bitch, but boy is he totally devoid of talent!
At the beginning of mankind, when God created the human body, the same vital organs began to argue over who was the boss.
The brain explained: "I must be the head command because the functioning of all. "
The eyes have argued: "We should be the boss because we drove around the body."
The heart said, "then I should be boss because I take the blood for all of you work. "
In this case, said the stomach, "I'll be the boss because the food at all."
The legs declare their heads because, according to them, carrying all the "body".
The other organs were angry at what each one felt, was when the ass he asked to be the boss. Everyone laughed at this drawn that considered inappropriate.
And the ass said: "I'll be the boss" ... and refused to give a shit for 5 days.
The cracked body ....!!!!! The head was spinning ...!!!!! Stomach felt bad ...!!!!! Eyes clouded up ...!!!!! Heart threatened to stop ...!!!!! Legs were shaking ...!!!!! And then they cried, "Save big ass, Head of the Body!"
ahhhhh, other than the Jets losing and the Vikings winning, it was a perfect football day. Oh and Miami. and the Bengals. Iggles, Cowboys and Pats - losers. That's good enough for me.
Since
the dawn of time, when humans saw lights in the sky and began to ask
the big questions, the concept of a supreme being has lifted our
spirits, engaged our imaginations, started wars, brought us together,
and split us apart. It is only in the last week however, that it has
become patently obvious that if there IS a god, he cares much more
about baseball than he does about football.
