DIGGORY VENN was founded by Dan O'Brien after the implosion of Age of Anchors (AGEOFANCHORS.COM): a band for which Dan played guitar and wrote many songs, musically and lyrically.
DIGGORY VENN, is dedicated to an unadulterated, uncompromised vision of Rock-As-It-Should-Be. This is not about what sells or what wins over women or even what fans may want to hear. This is about ROCK as we'd like to hear it, and as we have to express it. I am not selling this music; I will never play a live show. Every song I produce will be available FREE on this website. Love it or hate it. It's rock, pure and simple. The rock that grabs you by your ass and won't let go.
Our goal is to produce an album's worth of material (i.e. songs) by September 1, 2007.

DIGGORY VENN uses: Fender guitars; Shure microphones; Mesa, Marshall, and Fender amplification; Yamaha basses; Pacific drums; Zildjian cymbals; and whatever sticks and picks we can get our grubby hands on.
I have myriad guitars but my main guitars are three all-mahogany set-neck korean Fender telecasters significantly modded with EMG 89 pickups as well as other amenities. They rip and roar; they also sing and whisper. That's why I have three.
