About Us Digital Cloud is a San Francisco-based CD-R record label that produces limited batches of homemade releases. We look for bands whose music inspires a dialogue among friends, music enthusiasts, and musicians. As musicians and radio DJs, we created a unique CD-R label where individuality and the experience of creating and listening to an album is important. Our goal is not to mass produce releases for profit. Through our efforts, we hope to create a musical community that fosters hidden and under-recognized talent. We are tiny and young, and we have bright dreams of growing up in the future.
Firsts
We are pleased to introduce to you our first compilation CD that is appropriately titled "Firsts."
Since this is Digital Cloud's initial compilation, we asked bands to submit songs about their firsts, whatever they might be. After receiving a bunch of great submissions from both local and international bands, we put together a compilation of songs about beginnings--from the first time as a substitute teacher to the first winter spent in Washington. Our compilation includes 17 exclusive tracks and features San Francisco's Snowblink, The Fits, Lady Genius (members from Volunteer Pioneer), Beatbeat Whisper, and Megamoog.
