ARROWSを輩出したノーマディックレコードより、1stアルバム『奇妙な肖像』をリリースする。以降、自主イベント「奇妙な群像」を始め、積極的に各種イベントに参加。Vo/Gt山本美禰子を中心とした比類なき歌世界は、神話や古典を下敷にした、神秘的な詩と、クラシックのスタイルを融合させた、表現力豊かな歌声によって、孤高の世界観を確立。複雑なリズム、不協和音、絡み合う2本のギター、そのどれもが特異な進化を続け、来るべき新時代の到来を予感させる。(文--Nomadic

【Digitalis】
Digitalis, the pre-eminent pop group, continues to produce its unique brand of music based on profound and spiritual influences.
The group’s outstanding musicianship, coupled with its philosophical and motivational lyrical content, will surely propel Digitalis to the next dimension.
Digitalis was formed in 2003, and they started performing in Tokyo, Japan from the next year. In January 2006, the first full album” The Strange Portrait” was released by Nomadic Records, well known for releasing”ACIDMAN” and”the ARROWS”.
From that beginnings they actively started Stage their original performance” Strange Sculptures", in Tokyo and also joined an extensive range of musical events.
The vocalist and guitarist, Mineko Yamamoto, has a brilliantly expressive voice, which makes the group's potential seemingly boundless. The music combines mystical and spiritual lyrics with both classical and pop sensibilities.
The dueling guitars and original rhythms make for an unparalleled and dynamic experience for listener.
Audiences agree that the sound of Digitalis will usher in a new age of music.
In October 2007, Digitalis released their second studio album,” SYZYGIA”.
Their third album will be released in2009.
