Claudio Martín Podsiadlo has been a producer and a Dee Jay since mid
90’s. He was born in Venado Tuerto on August 31st 1976. He started
having his own radio programme, where he played a variety of underground
music and he use to organized little parties where he practised with Dee
Jays from other places. But in his town, electronic music was not very
well-known, so he decided to move to Rosario, where electronic scene
was stronger, and once there he got a Friday and Saturday residence in
Baretto Club. There he started to work featuring invited Dee Jays from
many parts of the country. And he was also invited to play at a lot of
prestigious underground music night clubs of Rosario, Carlos Paz, Córdoba,
Buenos Aires and La Plata.
His technique as a Dj implies the mastering of vinyl trays as for cd’s,
and at the same time he makes shows using Ableton Live with Laptop, a
midi M-Audio Evolution UC-33 controller and a Korg Kaoss Pad II
processor of effects, and he gets as a result a remix of processed
grooves in real time very impressive at the dance floor. His styles goes
from the most quiet Minimal to the strongest Hard Techno, that makes him
able to create a warm up or end a line up full of energy with rhythms near
140 BPM.
Influenced by the present techno and by electronic productions from
artist like Plastikman, Adam Beyer, Derrick May, Thomas P. Heckmann and
Speedy J, among others, and thanks to all the positive critics he has
received about his minimal productions, he is now working more than
ever in the creation of new sounds of this type.
