Digital Moodz is a project which began in 1998 by Erik Blackerby. Growing up around the world has allowed me to take cultures and experiences that I have had and express them through my music. The music of Digital Moodz can be described as a fusion of ambient electronic soundscapes, ethnic instruments and vocals blended with modern grooves. The music is all created in Erik's home studio in Spokane Washington. (see pics)
Digital Moodz was first introduced to the world via the internet on the ground breaking indie site mp3.com in 1999. The music of Digital Moodz was downloaded and streamed over 1.2 million times over a period of 3 years on mp3.com.
The music of Digital Moodz has been featured in on radio stations around the world, Sirius & XM Satellite, independent films, Playstation2, X-Box, and Gamecube games.
Digital Moodz has successful sold several thousand CD's worldwide since 2001 and currently has a new release coming out soon
