    Founded in 2007, digital.rape is a musical project of Zoya Heban, born 1990 somewhere in south-eastern Poland. Her lyrical themes concentrate mainly on introspective voyages and are heavily influenced by the art of Halina Poswiatowska. Her blending of post-industrial ways with a strong connection to nature result in an eclectic mixture of sounds that she calls "power darkwave".

Bio

The world is divided and borders are everywhere - be it fences, curtains, firewalls or underwear.
Some of these borders are easy to cross, some of them - not. Sane or crazy? Happy or sated? Accepted or ostracized? Man? Woman? Animal or human?

Founded in 2007, digital.rape is a Cracow-based music project of a solo artist by the name of Zoya Heban, born in 1990 and coming from a small village in Subcarpathian Voivodeship of Poland.
Her lyrical themes concentrate mainly on introspective voyages and are heavily influenced by the art of Halina Poswiatowska. Her blending of post-industrial ways with a strong connection to nature result in an eclectic mixture of sounds that she calls “power darkwave”.

Until now, digital.rape has released a split with Bulgarian noise project AMPDT, as well as four solo works - "meet the concrete girl" EP in 2008, "lost" in 2009, "wicker" in 2011 and "othering" in 2012.
