WISHBONE
Wishbone is an alternative rock band from Dublin, Ireland. Drawing influence from the blues of the 60s, classic rock of the 70s and alternative/metal bands of the 90s, they counter driving hard rock rhythms with mellow acoustics, and a keen sense of melody.
The band was formed in the summer of 2008, by singer Matt Hayward & guitarist Ivan Byrne, who were both looking to move on from previous projects. Hayward had previously fronted alternative rock bands Honeycomb and Garden Blue; the former releasing the single "I Slip Away" in 2007, and the latter releasing the album "Outside In", featuring multi-platinum selling artist Edie Brickell, of Edie Brickell & New Bohemians, and Fire Ants/Malfunkshun guitarist Kevin Wood.
Byrne had previously played bass in blues rock outfit Outbreed, and in early 2009 Wishbone recruited former Outbreed guitarist Niall Feeney on bass guitar, the re-united bandmates reversing the roles they had occupied in their previous band.
Drummer Joe Johnston was also added to the line-up in 2009, replacing former drummer Nathan Ogle, who returned to his native Canada, the foursome are currently touring in promotion of their debut album, "Butterfly".
Featuring a blend of heavy, guitar-based grooves, and quirky acoustic melodies, embellished by Byrne's bluesy guitar solos, and Hayward's deeply metaphoric and poetic lyrics, "Butterfly" is set to be released in April 2009, through Digital Revolution Records. The band are currently touring to promote the albums release, while they also plan to record a follow up EP by the end of 2009.
With a full-length album under their belt, and a second release firmly in the making - all within a few months of the bands conception - the band are certainly not lacking in drive, enthusiasm or commitment. Despite their work ethic, however, the members still exhibit an huge sense of humour, (as is evident in their home videos); featuring free Hallowe'en performances, homages to a rescued dog, and late night deer-spotting sessions in the Wicklow Mountains.
Thus far, Wishbone have been well received by fans and peers alike, and all concerned look forward to a long and productive career for the Dublin-based band.

SPACESEED stands poised to set the multiverse on fire with its new release its fourth CD Architects Of Twilight. It will be a Zeta/Voiceprint release, but more on that in a bit. Here is the story thus far .This North American space rock act was founded in 1988 in Atlanta Georgia by guitarist John Pack. The group spent a number of years "testing" ideas in the studio as well as performing live. Breaking onto the international scene in 2003 the group joined forces with forces with Nik Turner (Hawkwind/Space Ritual). Turner is one of the founding fathers of the Space Rock. The combo recorded and toured together for two years delivering red hot renditions of Turner Classics and Spaceseed originals. It was during this time that Future Cities Of The Past Spaceseed's debut disc was produced and released. It features performances by Pack, Turner and Gal-Axy. In 2004, Mark Reiser became the official band artist. 2005 brought about the advent of the Pack, Fowler
guitar team In this same year the group found itself paired with another space rock heavy ,Harvey Bainbridge. At this time the combo with Bainbridge in tow holed up in the North Georgia mountain town of Cartersville and recorded The Empire Of Night Featuring a demented, performance by Bainbridge, a cameo by Bob Harvey and a large chunk of lyrics by Bostonian space man Astro AL. On Empire the group cast space rock against the shadow of an Orwellian society. Dark and eerie it set the pace of the groups future work This mayhem was unleashed on the world by Zeta Reticuli Records. The disc also featured the first studio appearance by long time member of the groups touring unit John Stanton a veteran of the Washington D.C. music scene.More tours followed and the group proved equal to there work zig zagging the nation with a barnstorming, strobed out, mind melting set of authentic sweat stained space rock. The recently released limited edition Assault
Transmission The Official bootleg features performances by Bainbridge, Lora Blooom and Ken. As beformentioned the group is preparing to release it's fourth CD Architects Of Twilight . Due for release in spring 2009. On this recording Spaceseed plays hammer to space rocks anvil. Woven of a tighter fabric and forged of a stouter metal than any off the groups previous works it marks the groups shift to more of a rock format It will feature the groups core Pack, Fowler and Tart as well as appearances by Bainbridge, Bridget Wishart (Hawkwind/Spirits Burning) Steve Hayes (Secret Saucer/Ultra violet Rays) , Bob Harvey( Jefferson Airplane) and Joshua Sattler(Speed X). Allen Welty Green(Zentropy)handled production chores at his Z-Drum studio Atlanta Georgia. Disc art is being produced by Mark Reiser outside of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania as well as a secret location know simply as ' space mountain space lodge'. The band is set to tour the states starting spring 2009
It also appears the bands entire Catalog will soon be re released. While a prominent British space rocker was once heard to say " The only SPACE JP cares about.......... is the space in his bloody STASHBOX!! " this new effort we hope will prove WE ( including JP ) really do care about space and plan to make it ours........ Pick up a cd go to spaceseed blog for link also check spaceseed interview blog
