+++++++++++++ [[SPANISH VERSION 1.0]] +++++++++++++ DIGITIZEN es un proyecto de EBM en solitario de ROGER24. ROGER24 comienza a escuchar electrónica oscura a sus 15 años. A partir de entonces su obsesión y búsqueda por los estilos y bandas de EBM, Dark Electro, Electro Gothic, Future Pop, etc se extiende hasta hoy. Empezó profesionalmente como DJ en la escena Dark Wave 1990, aunque un cambio musical en los clubs a un dance comercial provoca que tenga que apartarse y dejar la profesión a los pocos años. Es en 2003 cuando ROGER24 crea Biomechanic, que en 2006 cambia el nombre por DIGITIZEN. Veinte años durante los cuales le han servido para ver la evolución que la escena ha tenido y que tendrá en el futuro. Su primer CD larga duración es "Obsession", en el que los temas se basan principalmente en sus problemas personales más recientes. El sonido estaba un poco por definir, aunque todo sonaba a EBM de los '90 y bastante influenciado por Project Pitchfork. El mismo año graba otro CD con el nombre de "Why Life?" en el que explora la realidad y crueldad de la vida. El sonido mejora, y la voz resulta más agresiva. Un par de temas Synth-pop y mucha EBM. Durante 2004 edita el tercer CD "Pain! Neurotic Brain!" centrado en la temática de la guerra de Irak, la defensa del planeta Tierra, en la que acusa a los gobiernos de España, EEUU y Gran Bretaña de la catástrofe a la que someten a Irak, la crítica por el dominio del petróleo, etc. En este CD aprovecha para marcar ya un sonido más propio. La música es más áspera y agresiva. Sus temas más potentes y bailables son "Victim" y "U.S. Of Oil". En 2005 reune lo mejor de los tres anteriores CD's y los remasteriza totalmente para un 2CD "Electronic Warehouse", haciendo que su sonido sea más homogéneo entre ellos como si se hubiésen creado en el mismo momento, distorsionando aún más la voz incluso en los temas más Synth-pop, llegando al Aggro Techno, e incluyendo unos temas inéditos. El sonido es más fresco, contundente, industrial y oscuro. En 2006 quiere hacer un regreso al pasado, volver a la época de los '80 en la que el sonido del New Beat más oscuro y la electrónica alemana ofrecían una música personal y única a la vez que más minimal. Edita un EP "New Forms Of Death" en el que incluye dos versiones de su mejor tema hasta la fecha, "Victim". En 2008 aparece el MCD "Strategy of Violence" con 4 temas, siendo el tema "Night and Fire" el principal, en el que la temática critica la pena de muerte. En 2006 continúa con la experimentación DJ con las mezclas aplicando la mezcla digital y recursos de otras escenas como el Trance y el House, tanto a la música EBM y Dark Wave de los 80 y los 90, como a la época actual del Siglo XXI, creando un formato más compacto y armónico a la vez que sesiones non-stop.......................................... +++++++++++++ [[ENGLISH VERSION 1.0]] +++++++++++++ DIGITIZEN is a ROGER24 solo project of EBM. The sound is fresh, forceful, industrial and dark. In 2006, wants to make a return to the past, back to the 80's season in which the sound of darker belgian New Beat and the german electronic music provided a unique and personal as well as more minimal. Sinceramente, la sesión que hice en Masía fue demasiado electrónica y poco oscura para la línea que suelo seguir, aparte de que la noche fue un poco atípica. De todas formas me alegra que te gustara, eso es sólo lo que busco, que la gente se lo pase bien y se pegue una buena fiesta!!!!
