After touring and dancing with some of the music industry’s biggest names, dancer/choreographer Digo Padovan returns to his initial love of music and embarks on his next great journey – as a singer and composer.
Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Digo Padovan fell in love with performing as a child. His sister taught him to dance at an early age and when he was old enough, he began instruction, himself. Gaining recognition early on for his skill as a choreographer, Digo began teaching and choreographing for teen students for the public school system, traveling to different institutions with the physical education program. His ambitious undertakings led to choreographing for singers, events and festivals, and eventually to touring with Brazilian recording stars Zeze di Camargo & Luciano.
Digo’s athletic style garnered the attention of the Brazilian Aerobics team and their sponsors who took an incredible gamble on the dancer to choreograph their routines and to train as a competitor, himself. That gamble paid off when he helped to lead his team on to six gold medals in the International Sports Aerobics Championships.
Digo followed his dreams to America, eager to capitalize on his newfound fame. He became the first silhouetted dancer in the well-known, international iPod ad campaign and started dancing and choreographing for major recording stars, including Madonna, Mary J. Blige, the Black Eyed Peas, Guuzen No Kakuritsu / Girl Next Door, Shakira, Debra Cox, and Toni Braxton. He was featured in numerous ads and events for companies like H&M, Redken, Pepsi, and Nike. In Las Vegas he choreographed for the members of Le Reve and several Cirque Du Soleil spectacles.
Having been surrounded by music since childhood, it was the inevitable next step for Digo to explore his own musical creativity. He’d toyed with the idea for years, but never had the time to cultivate his talent – until now.
Gathering on his interest in and experiences from different cultures and their music from around the world, he is determined to bring a whole new “pop” sound to Brazil. Mixing ethnic instruments with dance beats, crossing country rhythms with rock ballads, utilizing native poetry to color his lyrics, Digo is putting together an album that is sure to rock the airwaves of Brazil and beyond…

Depois de participar de turnês em diversos países com alguns dos maiores nomes da música Pop, o coreógrafo e bailarino Digo Padovan investe em sua carreira como cantor e compositor, e bota o pé na estrada.
Nascido em São Paulo, Digo Padovan começou a dançar muito cedo, com apenas 3 anos de idade.
Incentivado por sua irmã, sempre despertou interesse pela arte. Na adolescência, suas habilidades como coreógrafo chamava a atenção de seus amigos e professores do colégio onde estudava.
Em pouco tempo, Digo passou a dividir o horário das aulas de educação física com o sua professora, que abriu espaço para que ele pudesse mostrar seu talento, ensinando dança aos colegas de escola.
Sua ambição o levou a coreografar para grandes empresas do mercado fonográfico, em eventos e festivais. Com isso, muitas portas se abriram para viajar em turnê com artistas consagrados da música popular brasileira como Zezé di Camargo & Luciano.
Seu talento também foi reconhecido no âmbito esportivo. Convidado para integrar a Equipe Brasileira de Aeróbica de Competição, Digo conquistou 6 medalhas de ouro em campeonatos mundiais, representando muito bem o seu país lá fora.
Tanto sucesso o levou a despontar nos EUA. Hoje é possível encontrar sua imagem vinculada a grandes marcas como iPod, H&M, Redken, Pepsi, e Nike. No show business atuou em Las Vegas como artista do Cirque Du Soleil, no musical Lê Revê e em vários outros grandes espetáculos.
Como coreógrafo e dançarino, trabalhou ao lado de grandes estrelas internacionais, incluindo Madonna, Mary J. Blige, Black Eyed Peas, Shakira, Debra Cox, e Toni Braxton.
Como cantor e compositor, sempre brincou com suas idéias, porém nunca expôs as suas poesias e canções, até agora.
Após muitos estudos e viagens garimpando sons e ritmos de culturas diversas, Digo traz um novo estilo “pop” para o Brasil. Misturando etnias instrumentais do Oiapoque ao Chuí e a dança, ele dá um colorido diferente ao Rock e às Baladas Românticas.
Suas letras, inspiradas em sua história de vida, são mensagens de incentivo àqueles que estão em busca de um caminho próprio e que não desistem de seus objetivos.

I would like to share with you something I was moved to write::
I hope you are doing great my friends... and i hope you are copeing with MJ's flight into the heavens.... We are all sadden and hurt.. but we must keep the faith.. as Michael Says, and keep going and show how he has touched our lives. I'am proud to be a Michael Jackson Fan...from the beginning to the end.. i have never lost faith in Mike and i never will... Please allow me to walk beside Michael and be like a shadow to him... I'am happy that individuals feel that i sound like him,, and remind them of his sweet voice... But there is only one Michael Jackson, and their will never be another... He's a icon of epic porportions... I'am glad to of been the generation that got to see him up close and witness his magic... I'am always thinking of you Michael day and night.. and i only hope you are looking down on us, and never leave us alone....for we are not alone... You have givin us the opportunity to see the limits of Gods power when he bless someone with a Gift... You are surely a work of Art, a Masterpiece that is glorious to behold. Your entire body would execute moves that would boggle the mind... and dazzle one's eyes. How can we not watch you when you are in your Zone.
