Music
A part of me is stuck back in the 80's. 80's AT-40 and the "Hair Bands" make up much of my musical collection. Occasionally I relax to some Christian Rock/Contemporary, soft Jazz, Neo Classical, or some New Age music. I'm pretty much open to all styles and sounds, just keep the country and hip-hop to a minimum.

I'm a funny (in a dorky sort of way) family guy, happily living with my gorgeous wife, Karen,.. a handsome and adventurous son, Jack (08 APR 2004).. and a beautiful happy daughter named Delaney (15 JUN 2006).
I'm somewhat of a lone bear in this world. Big and cuddly in appearance and deep inside, but standoff-ish and solitary for many of the same reasons a bear in the wild acts that way - an instinct to fear and distrust anything / anyone that gets too close. That's not something that is really by my own design or choice, just a result of being shy, tragic events of my childhood, and from being hurt too many times after letting people inside my heart and mind.
Online, I love getting to know new and interesting people; through emailing and posting messages. It's like being the bear at the zoo. I see you, you see me, and we can get to know each other better without getting too close too soon.
That's why I'm here... to forge new friendships, and let people see a side of me I rarely reveal.
Who I'd like to meet: (1) The founding fathers of the our country and the constitution.
(2) Their wives to find out just how many of our "founding father" ideas came from the dinner table and their bed-time talks.
(3) People who will accept me for the person that I am, who truly want to be my friends; and not because I am a friend of a friend.BTW, did I mention that I love and adore BBW's? I prefer a woman who is Big and Curvy, 'cause skinny chicks just can't cut it.
