About me:

From inception, Di Interactive was built to stand head and shoulders above the competition.
We are a Kansas City Web Design studio creating websites, interactive multimedia, and high quality flash presentations.
The co-founders of Di Interactive, met in 1997 as new 6th grade teachers in the Olathe School District. An immediate passion for both teaching and learning was apparent, and a strong friendship was formed… a friendship that formalized as Di Interactive in 2001. In many ways, the spark that ignited Di Interactive came from elementary teaching experience. In simplest terms, Di Interactive is a web development company. We build high-end, Flash-based websites. There are a number of companies that make the same products. And in all honesty, many of these companies deliver products of the same high quality as ours. Clearly, our success isn’t due to a lack of competition. Instead, our most important success factors can be pointed back to lessons learned from hundreds of 6th grade students.
* The definition of "fair" doesn't require a dictionary or college degree. Kids of the youngest age know when they aren't being treated fairly. Our customers are no different.
* Being the “smartest” or “best” at something is worthless if you aren’t nice. Technical companies in particular are terrible at remembering this simple fact. Because of our teaching backgrounds, Di Interactive is uniquely adept at making complex projects user-friendly. The concept isn’t new, just forgotten too often. Philo of Alexandria said, “Be kind, for everyone you meet is facing a great battle.”
* Sincerity can’t be faked for very long. Students on their best behavior and teachers with superficial smiles typify the first few days of a school year. The true test of character comes through when things don’t go well. True sincerity shows when students are at their worst, or when projects don’t progress as smoothly as hoped. In these cases, people will soon forget the specific problem, but they will long remember how they were treated and how it turned out.
* Inspiration has a place in everything. All of the technical information in the world will not matter to someone who is not personally moved by it. It’s perhaps the greatest challenge as a teacher. It’s the difference between informing and inspiring. Di Interactive tries to inspire every client to see the possibilities in their specific business. Coupled with being sincere, nice, and fair from the lessons above, we have a winning business model that somehow falls through the cracks of business plan software, yet has given us undeniable results and customer satisfaction.
Despite the elementary school roots, we’ve crafted a well-balanced team that enables us to approach each individual project from several perspectives. Our staff boasts experience in fields ranging from Fortune 500 sales and marketing to advanced web developers and e-media programmers. All of them dedicated to outstanding customer service, driven by customer need, and coordinated through solid project management practices. We’re a step ahead of our competition.
